Great wedding. Full of God, family and love. UP TV messed up when canceling the Bates. They will wish one day they hadn't. Such a Godly wonderful family. Watching Gil's face as each of his children came down the isle was priceless and Traces little giggle. Such a beautiful wedding with such amazing vows. Be blessed! Love the Bates.

When UPtv canceled the Bates we all know that they blew it and I know now that they know it. But when a family is this loved and this welcomed into so many lives as truly cherished it's bc they bring so much of themselves as examples of what is good and glorified and that is what is always evident as it was in this wedding. It was a beautiful wedding and I am happy Trace found his soulmate that has a gentle spirit.

Its nice to finally see a bates wedding w/o editing from UP TV. Also nice seeing Gil officiating in full. Not a lot of people are fortunate to have their Dad be the Pastor for the wedding. Blessings to both of you.

My husband and I have been married just over 12years and have never gone to sleep without having a time of prayer . We even pray together even when it has been necessary for us to be away from one another we still make time to prayer and worship via the phone and FaceTime. I encourage you to do likewise. Never go to sleep without praying for each other and asking Gods protection over you while you sleep. May God richly bless you both.

As I have watched these young couples join their lives together and the Bates family grow larger and larger, I find myself wishing that I had been fortunate enough to have a family like this. The product of a broken home, I grew up in an orphanage and never knew the love and closeness of a real family, never had the guidance of loving parents. And, I envy your choice to raise your family in the church, it obviously appears to be so vital in your strong loving family. Thank you for sharing your lives with us.
