For ppl who are confused: this is supposed to be a nostalgic video depicting the childhood of people born in the 70s/80s in China. Buying cheap snacks with wrinkled paper notes, eating malt syrup lollipops etc. Though technology is not as advanced, those were good times. According to my parents, life was much simpler and happier. As a gen z I’ve never heard of the names of the snacks in the video so it’s certainly interesting to watch.
