What needs to be changed in the transfer case to adapt it, kinda confused. Is the new trans not the same 6 bolt pattern and 23 spline output?

The TR-4050 is longer than the OE transmission and required the installation of a slip yoke eliminator kit.
So is he just installing the SYE kit?
