I really like how you spoke in a different language to give us a perspective of the importance of TPR. That was a great example!!! Thank you very much for this video.

Thank you so helpful 🙂
Thanks a lot, Kristina. So happy to have found your channel. There are tonnes of general lectures on TPR on the internet, and pretty much no real tutorials on how to do that in a real class. Can you make more videos about teaching techniques? I'm sure lots of teachers will highly appreciate it.
Bonsoir Christina! You're an exceptionnel teacher full of expression. I'm encouraged to use more TPR and I don't feel foolish anymore. You spoke French and mixed with which language, it wasn't creole ;-) ... looking forward to learning more, et merci de poster cette vidéo
Thank you. This was helpful.

You are the best. I've been online researching teaching English now for several weeks. Most everyone eludes to TPR but you are the first, yes only person who has explained what TPR is. I have probably watched dozens of videos. They all do it but assume we know. You thoroughly explained it. Thank you so much! (You're a great teacher!).

I am glad it was helpful Karen 🙏 By the way the company i usually teach for is no longer hiring so i would recommend looking into other options. I am sorry for the inconvenience if you applied to any company i recommend and not hiring now.

I was too 🤯 especially when I failed a demo lessons for a company but what I learned is that in order for me to get what I want I might have to do multiple tries and the next time I passed. So stress is not a bad thing but don't let it prevent you from taking action.

Hi Christina, I was just wondering which creole language you used in your final TPR example ?
@christinaclesca1384
3 жыл бұрын
Hi 👋 it's Haitian creole 😂
Christina, I am just starting my journey to receive my TEFL certification. What other methods do you use? Do you find that the TPR method is the most effective with the students you teach? Do you mostly teach children or do you have some adults as well? I am currently in Mexico and looking forward to completing the course to begin the teaching process.

Hi Robyn, 👋🏽 I've only thought children so i rely on TPR and Phonic Sounds to teach them. They are pretty effective when used with a white board. I separate the words and make sure they can pronounce them well. When it comes to adults it is recommended to use more Phonic sounds and day to day conversation to introduce them to the language. You will learn more about all the teaching techniques in the TEFL course. Also I would recommend the LESSON PLAN it will allow you to organize your lesson when you are ready to teach. check it out 👇🏽 tinyurl.com/yt2h7nbn
it's Educational TPR.
