The guards that come with the play are the same that come with jrl. Imo they’re the best guards, I feel they transition the best

I used the Gamma tight guards and they fit perfectly. Probably equally as offensive, but hey 🤷🏾‍♂️. I love almost everything about the Play. However, premium guards and USB-C are the only reasons I'm considering going with the XO for $5 more.

*The “Play” replaced my SC Rebel. I use the Wahl Premium guards & it’s all good.*

With these screws yes but since you can’t use guards on the blur blade might as well use the same screws that come with it.

I modded mine and put the Oster fast feed blade on it 🔥 with purple andis guard

I’m literally gonna buy these and do exactly as you have done. Slap taper blade on and use them for setting guidelines and detailing replacing my corded masters. Then use my Gamma boosted for blending ‼️🦾
