Using hub is compulsory or we can use camera directly without hub...? actually I want to setup camera in open area without electricity source. Is that possible with tapo cameras.

Does the Hub have a fan in it or is it 100% silent? I would want notifications when there is movement (on phone and tone on hub), but at night i want to press an 'arm' button for it to work like an alarm.

Is there a way to connect the stream to my existing dvr?

How far can the hubs signal reach to the camera itself? I want to put 100 meters away from my accesspoint. Can I use the camera's wifi without the hub? Thx and sry for my english 😌

Thanks. So, it’s around 10 meters, not a lot.

I am guessing AI detection wont pick up if someone hides behind cardboard while they move. You probably need motion detection for that.

Good image quality? Yes, but that's all... The battery only lasts about twenty days, even with the lowest settings. Impossible to buy a replacement battery Not secure: we cut the power and the hub is out of ordera and no more remote monitoring A simple rotation of the camera is enough to steal it Sound alarm ? LOL You need an amplifier to hear it The sound ? very low 2K? great, but the battery drains Very expensive for what it is... And I got fooled
