Wow what a lineup! Thanks so much for this video, but looking at that lineup I’m soooo glad I got the BE65 due to its much smaller size. I get over gigabit speeds on them.

Great video and explanation. I have a question though - I am planning to have x50 poe 3 pack for three floors. If i use POE from my router to all 3 of them(without connecting them to each other wired or wireless) , will these still act as mesh system with same SSID or different ?

Thanks for the videos, great stuff. I have a question. I have a tp-link router AXE5400 which im very happy with but i'm wanting to get a mesh system to help with dead zones around my property. I'm thinking of the deco xe75 or deco xe75 pro. Will i still be able to utilize the axe5400 so not for it to go to waste, even if it is only used as an access point or repeater. Thanks.

There is a way to avoid the capping issue you mention on the ones with a 2.5gbps port, just use a 2.5gbps distribution switch to connect each one as opposed to daisy chaining them.

I’m going to replace my 10yr old Orbi mesh with BE95 soon. I have frontier fiber. You mentioned going directly from theONT to the “Main” Deco router. Will this work or will Frontier block access without their combo router? I could put their router in transparent bridge mode but if I don’t need their router it would be better. Love your channel. Thanks

No problem! When I get my hands on them, I'll be sure to review them. I haven't read much about AFC other than they're supposed to help with the 6GHz band to enable better performance and range because of increased power levels. I would imagine anything using the 6GHz band is already using this technology but this is my assumption, can't say for sure.

@@landpet base on what i researched, not all current wifi 7 routers have activated AFC.. others would have it via firmware update but some already have it activated on launch.. and most routers i found with activated AFC out of the box are ASUS routers

Hi there! Thank you for your informative reviews. I was wondering which you recommend for my current household: 2500 sq ft. Two floors. 1Gbps Internet. Offices on opposite corners and floors of house. Gaming, streaming, etc on multiple devices. Torn between a single BE85 for speeds or doing a Dual BE63 wireless backhaul setup for coverage / hardline access for the downstairs office PC. Currently just using the standard ATT Wifi 6 router but streaming devices downstairs will have spotty connection/coverage (similarly priced on Amazon right now). I'm sure anything would be an upgrade from the standard ATT modem but want to be a little more "future proof" conscious with this purchase. I would appreciate any advice or recommendation you have! Sorry for the lengthy question/comment..

Do you have an in depth review of the Deco App? I just purchased the XE75 and will set it up soon. I want to create 2 networks 1 dedicated to 2.4 ghz and the other to 5 ghz and use the 6 ghz for the wireless back haul based on you suggestion. I also want a network with both 2.4 and 5 turned on. Thank you Drew

@@landpet I completely understand and that makes sense. In your opinion which would be the best system for us. My house is 2,800 sq feet that includes a in-law attached through the garage, 7 bedrooms, and 2 floors. We are getting 300mps currently but are upgrading to 1 gig. We have many devices as well. We definitely want a 3 pack mesh, and will be hardwiring them and using at least 3 switches. But still has to have good wireless for devices not hardwired. Which ones would you recommend? Also does this setup sound like it will work hardwired as we are new to mesh systems…Modem > Main Deco > Switch #1 > 2nd & 3rd Node connected to Switch #1 > Switch #2 connected to 2nd Node > Switch #3 connected to 3rd Node. Thanks in advance.

It did in certain categories but quad band isn't necessarily better, if the devices can't take full use out of it unless each frequency supports faster speeds like the BE85 and BE95. There are surprises every now and then
