So my friend has a same gearbox it will randomly flash N on dash and gear won’t engage, the only way to make it work again is to switch off ignition and start the engine again, does this indicate that he needs new semi auto clutch? Also is there any programming needed after new clutch installation. Thank you.

it will need a master reset and recalibrate

The dealer said the car needs to be connected to a diagnostic to be put into a ‘strip down mode’ before changing the clutch on the semi automatic? Please help
