This car is the absolute pinical of quality. It's assured that everything will continue to work perfectly for many many years. There are vehicles with more luxurious interior materials but none are built with the same level care as this wonderful machine.

I like that they wear the white gloves. I finally got m 1992 Century imported into the U.S.A. but I am not using white gloves. Maybe I should buy some. I vlogged about importing it as well.

They should make an elevated version of the LS500 like Mercedes does with Maybach. The LS is for more luxurious than the Century but the Century exudes an old world luxury and distinctive charm the LS lacks. This should be put into the elevated LS.

I wouldn't say that the LS is more luxurious, just that they are different styles of luxury. The Century is intentionally understated, it sacrifices super high-tech features in favor of quality and sophisticated refinement, it isn't trying to be a luxury status symbol like a Rolls or a Maybach, it doesn't need to because that's not why it exists. And yes its very old world luxury.

I buy this car before i even think about Rolls Royce.or an s class Mercedes-Benz.

@@KaiyanLeong the Koreans have hired German engineers. Hyundai to be exact. To clarify the justification of builing such a car that's not flashy but rather elegant well built quality that doesn't need to be flashy. Think of stealth wealth.

@@2jz4life35 I don't see anything wrong with hiring the best engineers. I for one, and I am sure many others feel the same, that the Genesis G90 is an elegant car. I have nothing against the overall looks of this car, I am even fine with the lace curtains. But the dashboard and buttons? Those are just plain lazy designs.

@@KaiyanLeong I'am not blindly defending this cars design but you gotta remember this car is for the Japanese market only. Japanese have a diffrent interpertation of luxury and not only that but also this car is designed with the Japanese emperor in mind who are Schaueferd in. Hyundai has improved since their inception but still got ways to go until a true competitor to Japanese quality, reliability and dependability. I'am factually speaking. Personally I love and adore, cherish and admire anything that is well built. One has to give credit where credit is due.

good car at least regardin the build quality beside the confidence in the brand name ... but not extraordinary with in its class even for the lower end in this category the high end luxury executive cars the design is very conservative and still basic regarding the interior design and comfort and luxury options ...

Awesome car, but price-wise Continental or Navigator seems like a better deal.

Until you consider maintenance and build quality, just look at the Rolls that Throttle House raced against a V12 Century.

独立ナビじゃなく今はインパネ一体式だよな エクステリアは良いけどインテリアが残念 デザインは相当以前から練ってたと思うけど 臨機応変に流行りに乗じて変更出来ないものなのかね あとトランクだけどゴルフバッグ4つは乗らんと思うぞ

Amazing car! But this car need V12 engine like 1GZ-FE on GZG50. Toyota drop to the century old engine and powertrain from LS460 2006year... So funny. What for? They rebuild all full-size to the Hybrid - century, majesta, camry etc. But they don't want build new engine for their top car, like later on the GZG50... And ask me somebody, why all aroud call this car 3rd generation of the century?))) VG10 2.6l (crown eight) - this is a first VG20 3.0l - second VG30 3.4l - third VG40/45 4.0l - 4th GZG50 5.0l - 5th and present is 6th)))

If Toyota doesn't complain, they will have to pay a punitive tax of a few dozen billions, just for staying on the market. In this actual moment, some builders like Porsche, but also Mercedes and BMW, that didn't anticipated well, have numerous of their cars pushed out the market, or, for the best scenarios, unavailable for 6 months (yes WLTP is also a factor, but not only) Toyota at the other side is able to bring this kind of car back. Do you see now, "what for" this is ?
