Here the Wigo is called the Ayga. I rented one once for one day and I found the front seats uncomfortable. The Espresso comes here also in AMT, just like my Swift. For me the Espresso wins hands down, it just drives better

With a more powerful engine (and more fuel efficient at that), and lower price point, that's already the biggest selling point for me right there.

S Pressso is unusually quite, it’s high ground clearance and tall seats inspires confidence while improving visibility. I am very impressed with it as a new owner.

First I really liked the wigo but when i tested the two cars, I find the wigo a bit uncomfortable (front seats), then comes the Spresso that is comfy and fun to drive even though its an MT. Owned 1 right now (Suzuki Spresso), both cars are good but for the ride comfort go for Spresso it is really fun to drive tbh 👌🏻

I think the Celerio is the one positioned as the Wigo's direct competitor, but I could be wrong. The Spresso is more like Suzuki's absolute budget-utilitarian hatch. OR a super-mini-MPV if you will. That ground clearance for its class is bonkers. That's MPV category. 😁

I agree, should be wigo and celerio. S-presso has its own universe 😊

My son got the Wigo G for 480K when it first came out. That was his first car. It had some issue with engine overspeeding but it turns out to he's using the wrong type of fuel. The service center recommended fuel is ordinary unleaded instead of premium gasoline.

AutoDeal and other car reviewers should always include applicable NCAP safety ratings in reviews. This should be standard.

The xpresso with lower profile tyres and a happy color, would win me over. I also prefer the reach of the gear lever.

I'm actually wondering if the reason for the S-Presso's rarity on the streets is the transmission availability as it only comes with a manual. But still, I'd prefer it over the Wigo considering how frequent it floods in NCR during rainy season.

My Family’s Hyundai SUV for commuting to and from Office (80KM per day Run) was becoming Expensive, this Compact Car is Nice! And The Wheels are very Good! In fact these are 14” Inch Rims! You have so much options for Future Upgrades including the Genuine Accessories which Are More Than Plenty! Looking forward to the Savings 😁 And Driving Pleasure of Small Car.

Depends which model, the Wigo is actually made by Daihatsu and is rebadged as a Toyota here

I like one that looks fun to drive and strong, and has a bigger windows which you can enjoy more the view, and looks taller which helps your visual. I'll choose S-presso I like it.

I got my S-Presso, and it is not scary for rainy season. flooding in streets is very easy for S-Presso cool. I love my car economical and the price is low can afford for a start.

Can you please do a review for Chevrolet Spark before they remove it in their line up this 2022. That is the only small hatchback that didn't have a review in this channel. 🥺

I think I'd give interior to the Wigo. While the Wigo's interior quality is bad in isolation, it's surprisingly still better than the Spresso. Plus, I'd take the tachometer, power windows, and extra storage space over the touchscreen and digital speedo. Wigo for me overall compared to Spresso, though I'd rather get a Kia Picanto or a Honda Brio over these two.

AutoDeal is always promoting the SPresso and now they are comparing it to Wigo which is a lot better. They should compare it to Celerio and not the SPresso.

Both these cars look cool in their own right&I've had the privilege to drive both over the course of a week&here's my verdict: Looks: Wigo which is Agya here in South Africa Stability: Wigo aka Agya Speed: both are 1L engines so huge lack of power, especially when trying to overtake another vehicle 😤🤦🏼‍♂️ Overall Verdict: the Wigo aka Agya is a better option than the espresso as a daily runner, but I would not use it for long distance trips, due to the lack of power and when driver at 120km it slurps up fuel&becomes unstable

I hope the Suzuki factory is not ashamed to be ashamed of the concoction and the quality of the features that are not half-hearted

It's weird that the spresso didn't do an all power window.

Costing, and also because of its narrow dimension. Adding electronics for rear windows will make the doors thicker, eating away the little remaining space.

Sa totoo lang kahit alin dyan pede ang importante may pambili ka. Pag may pera walang problema.

Spresso would have been perfect if it had an AMT.

No the auto trans on cheaper cars are bad, heavy , more expensive and less fuel eff.. learn to drive a standard.

Tnx for this man, appreciated. Just to share, our first choice was actually the S-presso, coz the design is good and the price is a bit lower than Wigo. But unfortunately, as a wise buyer, me and my fam wants a small car that's safety, budget friendly, etc., and accordingly, the s-presso didn't meet the expectation from the proffesionals because it's lacking of something like enough safetiness. So we had to choose Wigo since toyota company's location isn't that far from our hometown. We just bought one last month and let me tell ya, it's nice, it's easy to drive, it's safety tho it depends on how you or we are driving (plz drive properly). If you'll buy one, you will never be dismayed. Of course, s-presso is good, I mean every car's good. After all, the decision will always depends on you, as long as it's suitable to your taste and your budget. Have a nice day!

I've been driving my own wigo for how many months and naka reach na rin po ako nang 80 plus ang takbo di po sa nag mamayabang. Basta po madali po e control ang manobela ng wigo at sure po makaka overtake, depende po sa pag drive nyo po. Congrats po in advance sir if bibili ka nang wigo and God bless you always, drive safe sir ingat.

Bro, I am choosing between Spresso 2022, and used Wigo AT (2016-2018 are same price of bnew Spresso). Which one would you recommend? Small city and provincial driving ako mostly. Gagamitin ko rin sa maliit lang na farm, so decent luggage + yung maganda lagyan ng roofrack sana.

Toyota is toyota! reliability already been tested in years..the total sales of toyota wigo 2021 model is now more than 8,000 units have been sold..still the number 1 best selling hatchback in the country..

You must try it yourself & it always depends on your needs. Wag kayong bumili dahil lng may nasasabi ang iba. Consider ang mga factor depende sa pag gagamitan mo. For a 1st car buyer,.If your 1st aiming for everything basic and! Plain this car sa Suzuki s-presso is it also can fit in your pocket,,..But if you want something cooler and maybe a head turner! Then this one the Toyota wigo is alrdy.Is alrdy your next door car 😉

In India s-presso starts from 254000 pesso

well if that wigo is "pure" Toyota, it would be added for scoring 1.... pero para sakin s presso parin 😁..., medyo underpowered kasi si wigo sa manual tranny nung nadrive ko..

These are small cars with small engines. If you're still worried about fuel efficiency then you shouldn't buy a car.

Yes, I am also looking for the fuel consumption too. This information is basic when making comparison. Buyers in this category are looking for fuel efficient transport given the present tight economics. It was intentionally excluded out of fear people will learn spresso fares way above wigo in terms of km\l fuel consumption.

There's no thermostat on the S-Presso a very 'must have' especially for new drivers. This can cause problems like overheating and stuck in the road out of nowhere.

Why would a lack of thermostat cause overheating? Quite the opposite, coolant will always flow in the system and is not restricted by a thermostat. I hope no one is reading your comment and actually believing it, it is simply false.
