Thanks so much - I was looking all this time for a valve that gets screwed in like my other toyota had and did not expect it to be a simple clip in type. Mine had a litte bit of dried oil in but not to bad but anyway I washed it out. Greetings from South Africa.

PCV valve releases pressure built up about the cylinder head.

So why you didn't clean it?? It had a deposits on the valve inside.!

If the PCV valve work as it should and no deposit inside as with mine there is no need to clean it.

MAP sensor is usually located after the throttle body

Remember that engine vibration can be one or several problems. 1. If your vehicle is over 12 years old you can do a EGR check. 2. Your fuel delivery system can also be looked at. 3. Ignition system check.

Fuel system check can include fuel pump pressure, filter, and injectors.

If in your country you have dirty fuel problem this can block fuel pump filter and fuel filter and also cause restrictions at the injectors.

You can check the arcing of the ignition coil for reduced arc at any of the coils.

Clean your injectors, your fuel filter in the fuel tank.

@@ShelDockToyotaVitz already change the fuel filter didn't clean the injectors. My check engine light keeps on coming up and me vehicle lose power I of to switch it off and turn it on and the check engine go away can't get to scan it to see what's the problem

Once a check engine light appear you have a sensor problem. It becomes difficult though when the error is not logged. When you can't get a read out of that error this compounds the problem. Get someone to help you check the throttle body positioning sensor to see if it opens immediately when you press the gas pedal. Just place your key in the ignition and switch the vehicle to on without starting the engine. Allow one person to press the gas pedal and you observe the throttle body valve opening and closing as the pedal is pressed.

Check your fuel pressure it should be over 50 psi. Fuel filter may be partly blocked or fuel pump not pushing enough pressure.

If the PCV valve malfunction it can cause the cylinder head cover to explode because of built up pressure.
