Toyota Tundra 2007- 2013 How to remove stock stereo head unit and install new amplifier

This video is part of a complete audio upgrade in 2007-2013 Toyota Tundra. In this video series we are adding our plug and play amplifiers to the stock Toyota head unit (stereo), upgrading the front and rear door speakers and adding a dual 10” subwoofer enclosure / box.
In this video we will show you how to remove the stock stereo so we can install the plug and play harness that will allow you to add amplifiers to your stock head unit.. We will be mounting the plug and play amps under the passenger seat using our plug and play amp rack designed for your Toyota Tundra Using our plug and play harnesses along with our plug and play amplifiers, we will take this stock vehicle system and boost the power from 18 watts to 70 watts RMS to each speaker.

OK I've watched several videos on this by others. This is by far the best instructional video on KZread for doing this. Thanks for not skipping through anything.

Looks like this is still relevant in the 2017 and I will need an extension to get the deeper in bolts out. Thank you for the video. I love how everything on the sequoia does not require too many tools and hidden screws like other manufactures.

It would have been better if you show the bolts to take out, but thank you sir.

May you tell me which of the radio connectors is the one for the USB / AUX Jack connector? I can't find any info about it I installed the E7030 off a tundra 2012 on my 2001 4Runner it was plug and play but for some reason the voice for the nav directions won't come up it only says "start directions and you are in your destinations" but not directions while I'm driving, do you know if I have to connect the speakers to an specific connector in the radio? Thank you the videos are very helpful

My 2010 Tundra has JBL Stereo. Does it have an external amplifier?

Yes, yes it does. You should also be able to see JBL on your door speakers and find an underwhelming 8" sub in the back.

My JBL speakers in my 2008 Tundra Limited are the worst. My guess is they are blown because they rattle if there’s any bass.

You do NOT have to remove the center console to remove the stock radio. More work than neccessary.
