Toyota Supra - Race Built Toyota Supra - Alternator Problems Rebuilding Alternator , my Toyota supra car has a high amp titan motorsports alternator, ccw wheels,precision turbo and a ton of other mods, the 1994 supra is an awesome car but who wants to spend $750 on a new alternator, Here i show you how i repair my supra alternator with parts from Cano Auto Electric, all said and done it worked great, and for anyone who owns a supra this goes to show you that nothing is impossible..
Car is completely built from the ground up with ccw wheels precision turbo and just about every engine modification under the sun.

I love the Toyota supra, parts are becoming more scarce which is why I looked this up, great information that no one really wants to give out, we need more videos like this, I want to see more videos of the Toyota supra, that car is sick, how much horsepower you have, you should list the specs, the intake looks sick too !!, Veilside 100mm if i'm not mistaking, what turbo you have??

Nice video.
You should of check to see if front main pulley bearing was still good ( feel for drag with finger inside race). Best way to take pulley nut off is impact, so as to not to damage pulley.
Cool video ... I never thought of opening up the alternator before , good point though , the big box retailers always get the replacement units from China or who knows what parts they use to rebuild them unless their OEM parts. That car is sick though , dam that sound gave me a hard-on. LOL !!

How were you able to loosen the belt to be able to change the alternator ? I tried looking for something that would loosen the tension belt but couldn't find anything. I would appriciate a help, thank you

I usually use a long 1/2 inch extension and put it in between the two tension bars to loosen the tensioner, there are no screws or anything holding it it's super easy.

It's easier to remove the alternator than it is to remove the oil filter
