    Hi! Got the TENSHOCK in 1750kv version, for me it has the best balance of TORQUE and SPEED.Those are quite good motors, and CHEAP. But for no sensored motor there's NOTHING BETTER THAN REVOLVER SERIES FROM HOLMES HOBBIES, period!!! Tenshock is good, REVOLVERS ARE BETTER. WAY BETTER!!

    Yes revolver is much better but i cant stand the high pitch noise. I noticed with the tenshock motor its best paired with the castle sw4. No cogging at all and super smooth. I had the revolver and took it off. Got too annoying for me.

  • @JoseMunoz-gg2cn

    @JoseMunoz-gg2cn

    3 жыл бұрын

    Yes the revolver are LOUD!! The Truth is that the NOISE its ON THE ESC. Not the motor. Its about the ESC FREQUENCY. BTW, John holmes has been quite busy working on that issue. Weeks ago saw a KZread vid (exocaged rc) with an aerly prototype version.Got Tenshocks and are GOOD. Real good and DIRT CHEAP, no cog, torque AND Smooth. Even when revolvers are LOUD, are the ones i Like most. TORQUE MONSTERS,ULTRA SMOOTH, LOTS OF RAW POWER. Looking Forward to get the NEW ESC and make the best EVEN BETTER.

    yo hi I have much respect for your opinion but after hearing about the front locker situation I am so disappointed You need to leave the front locked all the time Unless you are going shopping at Coles lol you can throttle steer then Having a selectable rear locker is one of the tools I use regularly I would take the selectable one out of the front and swap it for the rear When both wheels want to climb something at the same time switch off locker n can make the vehicle turn left or right depending on which way the load is on the tyres Shiny sides up 🤙

Larger or higher KV motors are not recommended.". Why specify only for stubby, is it because the stubby is less demanding on the esc compared to standard puller pro of the same KV ratings, if that the case, perhaps castle slate 2850kv is not as demanding to the esc as standard puller pro, or its depends on the usage, for trailing/crawling it's okay but not for constant high load application like bashing or rock racing
