Doesn't feel as premium as a 2.5cr car because it's not a 2.5 cr car. In middle east, UAE it's sold at 60-70 Lakh rupees. In India only it's super expensive thanks to the unreal taxes by government on this car.

But Toyota is an overpriced car, being a global No.1 car they are putting hefty prices for brand value, especially in India they are selling substandard quality cars with huge prices and taxation is also a problem. The Japanese cars we get in the Middle East (forget about the US & Europe) are awesome when compared to the Indian market, of course, it is their traditional market. I am planning to change my Ford Ecosport and reviewed most of the Compact SUVs, still, I feel my car's interiors and features are at par with the latest one.

Though can't buy it but love watching it

If only it comes for a price that’s ‘reasonable’ 55 lacs for Fortuner and 2cr++ for LC is insane pricing, however reliable the car is! Toyota knows that can charge whatever and ppl will still buy (like Apple). But there is a very large and deep enthusiast market today for whom such cars are just beyond reach

you do realise that its not toyota charging whatever they want but actually because of the import taxes right? Why on earth would toyota charge 2-3x more in a price sensitive market like india? The only way toyota can sell the lc for a lesser price would be by manufacturing it in India and that would be stupid because the lc probably wont sell well at lower prices either.

To burst your bubble the heavy tax system was put in place by your congress regime, the Modi govt. is at least pushing to manufacture here for incentives. Despite manufacturing the Innova and Fortuner here the prices are still some of the highest which they aren't worth paying for. So as he said Toyota is ripping people off.

Toyota sells a car for 45 lakhs without sunroof - Fortuner. That its power.

bullshit 2 Crore ex showroom SUV don't get sunblinds even not the manual one. In that Price u can buy a fully specd V8 DEFENDER. xdddd

For all its various virtues (and it has many) the Land Cruiser 300 does have some shortcomings. For one thing, it is too big for normal everyday use. Despite its size and price, second row space is short, and there is no panoramic sunroof either. The lack of rear window sunblinds is quite surprising and unforgivable. Dashboard and electronics are built more for reliability than for pizazz, but still, could have been better. The new Land Cruiser 250 should be a much better proposition, at about half the price of the LC300 (less than half if Toyota decide to assemble it in India, which they should). It is the right size, has the right virtues and capabilities, and is built for adventure. That's the one I am waiting for.

In Fiji we have the 3.3ltr twin turbo diesel and 3.5ltr twin turbo petrol variants at #automart_premium

Its max a 50 lakh SUV. Not a penny more.. also fortuner is not worth more than 25 lakh rs. But toyota is historically known for selling cars twice their worth
