Cruise control is a game changer for those long road trips, perfect and recommended to use on empty roads

My 97' T100 doesn't have the center display. But it still works very well. 300k miles and counting 😊

I Love Toyota’s cruise Control • the most reliable and very well functioning, the liver operated is best of ! I love when you wanna only reduce the speed just hold it down towards driver’s knee the vehicle will reduce speed but not eating up the break pads, and simply hold it up towards windscreen and stop when it reaches your desired speed! I like the cruise on the steering wheel which almost all American vehicles use. Everytime I jump into my wife's Sienna I have to refresh my mind. If you drive a Toyota all the time I guess it's OK?

In almost 3 years that I have with my SUV, the cruise control has only accepted me 1 times. It is too complicated this system should consider changing it to a simpler to use it.

And to resume your previous speed after leaving a stoplight accelerate above 25mph and push the stalk up twice quickly.

Anybody knows how does works the brake system when the cruise control is setted up. I realized that when the car is too fast, like in slope, the brake system doesn't respond very well, been necessary an intervention.

To roughly convert from Celsius to Fahrenheit, multiply by 2 and add 30. From Fahrenheit to Celsius, subtract 30 and divide by 2. (To more precisely convert C to F, multiply by 1.8 and add 32.)

Agaba Levin no I don’t think so it accelerates slowly if you increase the speed but I don’t think it works like Tesla’s auto pilot

I have a 2017 corolla and the brake is absolutely loud as hell and my rpm goes up to 4000+ is this a problem? Is there a way to fix it?

It could be a problem. I have used 2014 corolla, to 2017 corolla before I bought my 2020 camry. None of them all gave me a noisy braking except my camry that it rpm was higher and kind of losing power at stop 2 weeks ago. I complained to my dealer technician/ advisor and recommended oil change. He does that after oil changed as well but stopped and drove normal few days later.

The one in my 2014 RAV4 only works occasionally. You can turn it on and off just fine, but getting it to set is a luck of the draw. Anyone know of a fix?

@@toyotausa Dealership? $100/hr for labor/diagnosis. It’s a 7yo vehicle. Oh, and an EV, so their people won’t know where to start because they’ve never been trained, but will still try to sell me an oil change.

I'm driving a 2017 aygo x and I can't get the cruise control to set. I press the on button then pull the lever down which brings up the speed I toggle it up or down to the speed I want but then can't get it to set. Pressing it down will only lower the speed further? Does anyone know how to set it

I had a 2010 Prius and was able to use the cruise control to decelerate all the way to the stoplight without using the brakes. My 2017 Prius now slows down to about 25mph and then stops slowing down, forcing me to use the brakes. How can I get the new cruise to work like the old cruise?

Had a Tacoma for 11 years and traded it in for a Tacoma Limited 2023. They've destroyed the Tacoma. My old truck was so much better. The cruise control squeezes your brakes every time someone cuts in front of you for a knee-jerk reaction. So for example I'm doing 73mph and someone pulls into my lane 2 car lengths in front of me and my truck goes down to 67 immediately. It a major pain in the A to do road trips now. You don't want to use the cruise control at all. I'm going to take it back to the dealership and see if they can disable the front camera on the truck which is responsible for this.

The Mercedes cruise control is simple n more inteligent
