If you are just plugging into the factory reverse camera, do you still need to solder reverse plug in?

Hi, No you will have a SR5 version so will get a different harness and should be plug and play. Cheers

The frame I received for whatever reason I had to cut some plastic back in order to fit the vents properly from the top tab and they still aren't really great is hard to adjust the horizontals as they are binding. Next the Hazard switch is sticking where it sits so had to shave off plastic carefully around the hole so it can engage and disengage freely and still not fantastic. So not real impressed with that. Second, so I have Alpine head unit, subs, speakers and amps installed after I first bought the ute in 2006 however now those connections are drastically different and rewired for the old head unit and there is no way to plug them in with the kit harness which I never considered. I can plug into the factory plugs with the kit no worries and the unit powers up and functions fine but until I get it rewired it's not going to have any sound. So beware, if you have any non-factory sound devices might run into issue like I have. Have a poke around before you buy and consider if major rewiring is involved.

Hey Mate, Sorry for those issues with the frame if you can let us know the year and model of car we can have a look why this happened. We could not find your order under our system so if you can email us that would be great. The wiring more than happy to help out if you send some pictures. Yes our unit comes with harness to match the factory plugs so if you have a different unit installed and they have cut and join wires instead of using a harness to adapt it then you will need to match it up again but we can help you out with that. I just bought one of this arrived today haven't installed yet, but I see it covers the factory clock the top of the screen or is it just the angle u recorded in??

Hey, mate. Might just be the angle it was recorded. I reckon we don't have any install problems with the fascia.

Great video mate! What about steering wheel control? Obviously you do not have same on your vehicle. Was just curious to know if the head unit supports steering wheel control and what are the wiring harness needed. Is the connection at 2:02? Eagerly waiting for your reply! Cheers

Hi mate, what happens if I have plugs coming from the car that don’t fit anywhere into the harnesses supplied? I don’t know what they do as there’s no wiring diagram available online ????

Once installed and the Vhedia screen cover is removed, there is what looks like another screen protector over the glass which gives it a mat finish. Can you remove this too?

I have an hilux and i just put it in like dat and the touch screen is not working but i can use a pc mouse.. any suggestions?

i assume this is a 9 inch screen? can I fit a 10 inch screen?

Yup. These units use a 9 inch screen. Fascia we have is designed to fit a 9 inch screen so 10 inch is not possible.

Can you please make a Toyota hiace 2007 version?
