Why not run cables through the floor frames? The MDF will hold every thing in place, the floor frames, so there's no problem. 2 things for me and my up coming canopy fit-out is extra weight and lost volume so I'm only viewing from that prospective.

Hey Steve, i raised the floor up to just above the sides so thst stuff slides in and out easy. You lose about 10cm for the headboard but thats inside the recess of the doors anyway. You can do it however thats the fun of doing it yourself 👍 cheers for watching mate, shaino

Whats holding the floor down? Its a loose base, itll be a dogs breakfast if you roll. Just a thought.

Lol i reckon if i roll i might have bigger issues than the state of the floor. I usually let the family sit in the front… cheers shaino

If it rolls, the whole thing will be a dogs breaky no matter what. Just a thought. SMH

Yeah, a bit of Sika or No More Nails to help secure it all down would give better peace of mind.

Hi, Good job. I did my floor with 40mm aluminium and sicaflek it to the canopy floor before using 12mm marine ply 6 months later removed it so I could fit a pantry as per video. Cheers Out There Touring
