The coolest toyota truck ever

Mi padre tiene esta joya dee Toyota hiace diésel cabina simple 4x4 4wd. Y ya paso 1 generación actualmente conmigo tiene 35años y nunca ah sido abierto su motor es una joya que pienso mantener y restaurarlo por que tengo toda mi infancia en ella

@tronin I was actually thinking that it was the tires that were holding this truck back, me a former jeep owner now Toyota Hiace, 200,000 kms and hardly a spanner to it..

Toyota is the best car manufacturer in the world

The problem with commercial vehicles is the suspension is set up to carry heavy loads and hence is so stiff it doesn't articulate well. Some of those wash outs shouldn't have left you hanging a wheel in the air. Soften the suspension to keep all 4 on the deck and fit some lockers and this bitch would be unstoppable.

To those saying it's a ToyoAce or Dyna, it is a pickup version of the Toyota HiAce van you probably know. I believe it was JDM only, and wasn't always given updates like the more popular van. Similar cabover Toyota trucks were sold elsewhere, like the ones you guys know, but this is a HiAce. Keep in mind, it may have had another name when exported.

Hiace and Proace never had this engine or wheel base. Only the dyna and toyoace did.

The proace and hiace had much smaller engine and smaller wheel base. I understand your comment on names after import. They where also named differently in different markets I.E asia, Africa, Australia ect.

it's a hiace truck which is the same as a toyoace.

Do you know what your mpg l per100km is? And have you have any issues with it

I'm looking at a 90 HiAce right now. Its in California, has 110k miles (converted from its reading of KMs) and is pretty much like yours (crew cab, 4wd, diesel & manual) . I don't intend on abusing it off road quite that badly, lol, but it will see plenty of mud should I end up buying it

Where I am from, this goes by the name Toyota Dyna, no idea if thats the case anywhere else though

errr....surely that's a Toyoace or Dyna? the hiace is much smaller, this is the first step toward 'truck' class i think.
