Here we have a video on the Toyota GR010 Hybrid LMH. Toyota faced a lot of positive and negative moments in the LMP1 era, with fierce competition between themselves, Audi, and Porsche. They would famously lose the 2016 24 Hours of Le Mans in the final minutes of the race, after their car would come to a stop due to technical issues from the lead, giving Porsche with their 919 Hybrid the win. Toyota would finally and deservedly win Le Mans with their TS050 Hybrid in 2018, although with the absence of Porsche and Audi, and only privateer teams which couldn't pose a significant challenge to a large manufacturer like Toyota. Toyota would win the 24 hour race 5 times in a row from 2018-2022 (although with no significant competition), until the influx of new entries in the Hypercar class this year, where Ferrari would end Toyota's dominance and win the race on their debut.
The Toyota GR010 Hybrid LMH would debut in 2021 with the death of LMP1 and the introduction of the new Hypercar class, alongside Glickenhaus with their SCG007 LMH, and Alpine with their "A480 LMH" (A detuned Rebellion R13 LMP1 car), and Toyota would win the 24 Hours of Le Mans in both 2021 and 2022 with their GR010. Toyota would enter a new version of the GR010 Hybrid for 2023, with obviously changed bodywork and aero.
