Even though " four into four" might be very familiar usage for keralites it is essentially a wrong usage which got stuck with mallus. The correct way to say "4x4" is "four by four ". As you are a renowned auto journalist such wrong usage of words could be thought as correct way to say 4x4 and many could imitate you . Kindly do not repeat this mistake in future.
