Toyota Corolla and Toyota Safety Sense P review

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

The Toyota Corolla is the best selling car of all time and now for 2018 it comes standard with Toyota Safety Sense P, which includes forward collision warning with autonomous braking, lane keep assist, automatic high beams, LED headlamps and more. This is a remarkable package because it is standard on all models, even the base Corolla. The Toyota Corolla is a compact car with seating for 5 people and a roomy cabin, featuring a display audio system, available heated seats and more. The Corolla is efficient and reliable and has amazing resale value.

I have a 2019 corolla. last year I was driving too fast around windy roads on a mountain (I'd been driving for 11 hrs at that point but I was almost at my destination so I wanted to hurry up and rest) Instead, turned a corner on these mountain roads I almost rear ended ended a truck - I was going 70mph- truck has stopped because it broke down - between me slamming on the break and the automatic collision warning/breaking - I truly think it saved my life - shoutout to TOYOTA for their safety!

New Honda Civics comes with competing technology called "Sensing". However, I would also install comma.ai - it enhances the system, better and safer.

The more I test drive and price out other cars the more I go back to the Corolla. It has lots of features, I like the styling overall (a little boring), it's more comfortable and spacious than a civic. I like that they kept the CD player and a volume knob. The VW Golf comfortline has been my favourite so far but it's more money, it has less standard features and the "German engineering" sounds like expensive parts and service fees to me.

Of course you are responsible, who else would clean it for you? I guarantee anyone driving especially on highway with winter condition will not be cleaning the sensor because it'll get covered up moment you start driving again. Maybe in future we'll see windshield fluid spray by the sensors like how some vehicles have it on backup camera.

How is that texting "feature" a safety feature? You're basically just using your phone on a different screen. Might save you from getting a ticket but still just as dangerous if not more since you're still taking your eyes off the road. Bottom line for me is, never text when you're behind the wheel. Just wait or pull over to a parking lot or something. Your text is not worth risking other peoples lives.

Dorothy Cheung 2018 Highlander is same as 2017 and 2017 is a facelift of the 2014-2016 Highlander. Toyotas have about 6-7 years per generation, 3 years of the current generation and 3-4 years of the "facelift" mid cycle refresh of the current before an all new generation comes after the facelift

When the concept for the current generation corolla was displayed at the auto show, i got pretty psyched - only to be immensely disappointed when this watered down version ended up being put to production. I have since gotten the new Civic Si (not only for performance but also for the overall styling). I also have a 2009 Sentra SE-R Spec V (the newer Sentras are awful). I would replace my Sentra with an exciting new next generation corolla with an optional upgraded engine, but i remain very doubtful that toyota will do anything other than plain vanilla corolla.

Just finished renting 2 brand new Corollas in NZ and Aus. Both with CVTs. Once you spend time as in 2000 km and 3000kms respectively you will learn 2 major things. The CVTs are terrible, they search co constantly for years on uphills, can't stay within parameters when using Cruise control where they allow a car to exceed speed settings by 5 km per hr, enough to get a ticket potentially. After time in their seats they are uncomfortable period. Hey Toyota, work on improving the basics, then no e on, but you haven't got this car right yet.

Yes it is a great car, I own one. With one exception, that ugly transition line from the side of the car to the back. That ruin the car's look. Also you can have any interior color you want, as long as it is black, terrible .

. to tell you gods truth, I took a Toyota for a test drive , it was a 2015 , no I found the Toyota to rattle and thin little doors, even though the Honda got faults I do not like, the Honda is a better car. but I like those nice features they are nice
