Thanks for a quick tutorial. The front passenger one gave me troubles. Just couldn't pass the wire thru for a while. Also the back armrest trim was hard to take off. I was afraid to break something.

Where did you get the lighted window switch panel from?

Is it just the Toyota Corolla model car that they use those standard light bulbs inside the interior and not the bright LED lights? Toyota uses LED lights in the rear tail lights and front lights but how come not inside the interior so that you can see better?

I have bought this product and I have a question. During the day, with the car lights off, the passenger and rear manners are on very dimly, but the driver's is not. Then when the lights come on, all four of them shine correctly. Why is this?

Hello and thanks for sharing such a nice upgrade installation guide. Could you please help to allocate the right fuse that is responsible for door window switches lights? (I’m assuming that’s where these bowl covers taking power from with the plug-n-play split harness). Is that going to be the fuse from under the dash fuse box or from under the hood? The reason I’m asking is that I wonder if it is possible to hardwire a switch from that fuse to make these lights switchable in case if got annoyed by the light. And maybe even split that splitter harness to get some power to additional lights to be installed in the door panels. Just not sure if that is going to be to much light, wanted to have an option to switch it off in case if needed. Thank you.

Yes, they fit in the Corolla hatchback. In fact, they were installed in the hatchback.

Hi thanks for video however do you have any idea how long these LED lights would last? Because it's no point if you have to change it every 6 months or a year

Hi, thank you for your comment. LEDs are supposed to last for a long time. So far the quality of products from the seller (Cartrimhome) has been good. Unfortunately I can't tell you the exact lifespan of the product.

The LED lights draw so very little current..the wire size is not an issue.

Thanks Steve! We have not tried yet. Most likely you will need to take it off.

Do the LEDs light up during the day?. I installed them, they all turn on at all times except the driver's one, which only turns on when the headlights do. What is the correct operation?

You need to swap a wire around in the driver's side connector to solve your issue.

Bei mir gehen Sie nur an, wenn die Innenraumleuchtung eingeschaltet ist, oder man Nachts fährt. Tagsüber im stehen oder abgeschlossen, sind bei meinem Toyota diese Leuchten ausgeschaltet.

They stay lit all the time. But they are not too bright. They provide ambient lighting.

Why don't Honda Pilot has this

I don't think that I would want to mess with the wiring of these lights. I would go the easier route with plug n play with installing LED bulbs on all interior lights like the dome light, map lights by rearview mirror.

The driver and front passenger are incredibly frustrating. The sound deadening material really gets in the way.
