I love Toyota, I own two of their products but the Ammonia experiment will end up where their Hydrogen experiment ended up. Nowhere. The biggest problem of Electric cars is not the concept, but the infrastructure that is needed. Hydrogen as well as Ammonia will need refueling infrastructure that I'm not sure anyone is willing to invest in. Aside from that, Ammonia is extremely dangerous substance and scaling it up is a very complex process.
