Don't know why but that engine sounds so nostalgic...

I'm buying a Peugeot 107 which is the same car. I love the simplicity of the interior. I'm sick of fussy, over-complicated interiors with complicated toys, gizmos and gadgets. The Aygo/107/C1 interiors remind me of the original Mini. I know they're more well equipped but by modern standards they're spartan and that appeals to me. It's a back to basics type of driving.

Man, I came to the same conclusion. I drive a MK4 Mondeo, full of buttons and expensive parts. I'm selling it and looking to buy one of these.

Owning both 107 and R56 MINI One, I second this! These little guys are the actual spiritual successors of the original MINI and feel more like it than the BMW-made ones

@@GlossaME You won't regret it. They're great cars to drive. It's a real 'back to basics' experience. The engine has spirit and sounds great. They're not fast and the handling isn't that great but there's just something about the car's character and feel that makes it fun. I've had bigger cars and faster cars but there's something about the 107 that makes you love it.

Totally agree. Just bought a Citroen C1 and it's so great to drive. The only thing I'm upgrading to something more modern is the speakers, as I'm a musician and the ones which come with it sound awful!

This one reminds me my first car, golf mk II, simple, cheap, reliable, and give you this raw driving expieience. I own now is300h and it's like couch on wheels, not bad since I have to do 1000km trips once a month but for shorter trips I would choose aygo 🙂

A proper City Bug 555

Drove one today similar colour. It felt uncomefortabley slow and the seemed liked need a lot of gas in first gear. Could have been the clutch on it's way out but I don't think so. Other than that suprisingly roomey and felt very well built.

Does it vibrate at idle / very low speed? 3-cylinders use to get out of balance? What is your experience with Aygo?

The Aygo sounds like a classic three-cylinder, it chatters a bit like a duck, but it doesn't vibrate. The nice thing is that the engine doesn't boom/roar when driven at low revs and under load. The engines are also very robustly built. So, the Aygo can definitely be recommended.

yeah its not but its very good even being 3-cylinder. Low fuel conspumtion, agile in city speed, kepp oil upped and will last forever. I drove 300-500km on highway routes with this engine and never let me down !
