Yeah, for sure. I know there’s a lot of good videos out there but very limited when it comes to running this lift (at least from what I’ve seen). Feel free to share your set up here or send link. Enjoy man!

looks great. Thinking of blacking out my SR5 and getting the same wheels but in a glossy black instead of matte black.

Thanks for the video, I want this exact lift. Did you have to do an alignment after the lift? I hear toyota will not do an alignment on a lifted vehicle?

I've also heard of that. Unfortunately, I didn't hear about that until I had already installed the lift, etc. I haven't encountered any issues but will look into it.

Hey, thanks for the comment. Ride is smooth, smoother than stock, tbh. I’ve done cheap lifts on trucks and they rode very stiff, this lift is not stiff at all, IMO. Pros: Ride height, looks a lot “tougher”, IMO, ability to run large tires. Cons: Fuel economy down to about 16.5 - 17, truck is heavier due to the heavier tires.

Any reason youre running 3" of lift? From my reasearch, at that height you lose a good bit of down travel, run into potential binding issues and it pulls yours wheels in a bit. Just looks?

Tbh, I’m not sure. It sounds like you’ve done a lot more research than I. I do use the 4x4 but mainly to get through muddy conditions, don’t do much rock climbing, etc. I went with this lift because I wanted something that would be comfortable and not super stiff like I’ve had buying cheaper lifts. I thought this lift was a good mid tier lift for the money. I know there are a lot better ones but again, I don’t even get close to pushing this to its limits. The lift is actually a 0-3.5 lift. I think it’s probably closer to 2.75 because I left the coil overs the way they came from the factory which is what they recommended for ride comfortability. Hopefully this video is helpful in your build man. Good luck!

Hey brother, I’m thinking about the RR5-S in a -12 offset for my new TRD Offroad with no lift. I’m going to get all terrains but keep the 265/70/17 size. Do you think there will be any issues with rubbing or should I play it safe and get a 0 offset? I don’t mind trimming the front bumper and removing the mud flaps.

Good question! To be honest, I'm not 100% sure. My gut is telling me that you'll probably be fine but I would hate to suggest something and it not work out for you. I'm also assuming that returning wheels is probably a hassle, etc. Have you checked CustomOffsetGallery? Or their Offset Calculator? The first link below has a few tabs; check out the "Wheel/Tire Size Comparison and Clearance Tab". Also the second link is another channel that I watched that helped me understand offset. ALSO, based on my research, -24mm offset is equivalent to about 1 inch, so -12 should be .5 inches wider if your current wheels are 0 offset. Be-careful though, some factory wheels have a positive offset so that positive offset would need to be accounted for. Let me know how it turns out. Feel free to share a video/pic once you get it done! www.customwheeloffset.com/tire-wheel-backspacing-offset-calculators?gclid=CjwKCAiAioifBhAXEiwApzCztiauCUGqbYQEeErm8mL8OPsURmKCPKlbsNjQ2rYNJ-pezW68GDg1jhoCIukQAvD_BwE kzread.info/dash/bejne/h2yCmKyTdbyTY84.html

@@Hookemdavid thanks man, I really appreciate you taking the time to give a detailed response. I have the factory TRD Offroad wheels, 17x7.5 with a +15 offset so I assume a 0 offset would be -15mm from the factory and a -12 would be -27mm from the factory wheel. I’ve watched that video that you recommended and there’s a ton of good info. I did a wheel offset calculator and a -12mm would extend out 39.7mm more than the factory which would equate to a little over an inch and a half. My goal isn’t necessarily to have a poke but the RR5-S wheels that I like in gloss black are sold out in the 0 offset but they’re available in the -12. I’m not in a huge rush so I may just wait to see if they come back in stock. Thanks again and I’ll keep you informed. 👍🏼

My car is lifted but still have 265/70/17 at ko2 tire with -12 offset like those in the video and it does seem it will rub if u want that setup on your stock 4Runner.
