I’m glad you pointed that out as well. Now I can put the blue decals on the sword since I am not much of a fan of the Unicron Trilogy.

If you look closely you can also see the minicon logo on the hilt sticker

I think I prefer the energy blade a lot more. Don’t get me wrong for Cybertronian blade is cool, but I think the energy blade suits him more. If Optimus came with a similar weapon I would say the Cybertronian blade fits him more.

Agreed. Much like how Optimus's orange energy axe breaks up the red/silver/blue of him, the blue sword blade for Rodimus makes nice breakup for all his red/burgundy/orange.

I love the "RODIMUS" plate on the back! It's totally believable that Rodimus would have a personalized license plate! The only thing I wish is that the Toyhax labels didn't have the pebbly texture to the printing. On all the ones I've used on my G1s it's not that noticeable as most the stickers are pretty small but on stickers the size of the flame decals on Rodimus' chest and trailer it would be great if they were totally smooth. My thought was that Toyhax did that on the reproduction TF and Joe labels on purpose so they couldn't be passed of as original when on the figure or vehicle. Since the new figures never had stickers future collectors would know any stickers on them are aftermarket so there would be no reason to texture the printing so I guess it's just their printing process. I do still need to pick myself up a Rodimus and will probably still get the sticker set. My gripe is relatively minor and the overall effect with them on is a figure that is much more interesting to look at.

I can’t wait to apply these decals to my Rodimus Prime! Great video as usual, PPR!

A super set! I ordered as soon as I found it was available. I like the sword 'as-is' straight out of the box. I would've rather had stickers to go inside the chest, to cover the "2021 HASBRO/TOMY MADE IN VIETNAM", with a sticker that looks like the re-enforced lattice panel of an engine hood.

An improvement. Especially for the trailor. But for myself, not a must-have set to me. Thanks for showing it off PPR. Great vid buddy.

I'm waiting for them to re-stock to order it, it's a really nice set for an already perfect figure. Great review as usual, you have no equals!

I just watched Bert the Stormtroopers chroming of the rims very good video when I get this rodimus Prime I will get the toyhax labels and chrome the rims too with a Molotow Chrome pen. Great video as always Mr Patriot Prime. Just wish Toyhax armory would make a better rifle for Roddy.

Man I wish that any version of RP would really capture the cartoon Space Winnebago look. I think the old MP got closest, but any that try to keep the car mode never capture it. Personally I don't need him to become a separate car, just have him dock into the trailer.

at first i thought new flames would look off to me, but watching your video, it actually looks awesome, and it does look like the g1 toy too

As an old school Reprolabels fan myself that is an awesome throwback! At 46 still owning my G1 figures on they have been an essential part of my collecting since day one. I started painting and customizing my bots due to Reprolabels. I really wonder if they know how many toys were saved from thrift store bargain bins and returned to better then new thanks to them. I save all my label sheets just to cut shapes to spruce up other toys. Amazing video as always Patriot and Happy New year to you and the folks over at Toyhax. Which reminds me, I have to place my first order of the new year tomorrow!

I do the exact same thing, I created new decals sets for my G1 Pretenders that Toyhax hadn't made yet from scraps.

I like the small detail stickers more than the larger, more obvious ones like the flames and blade. Surprised they didn't do the usual cel-shaded windows.

Honestly...I was as well.

Personally I would cut the orange off the chest flame decal. It just looks off with it still showing parts of the original orange on the edges.

Great set! Not a fan of replacing the painted chest flames, but the rest is hot!

Like I said, that looked like a sticker set for a Titan class figure. But the end result is fantabulously AWESOME!! Sucks that the chest sticker doesn't have better coverage, though. I'm amazed that they didn't do the textured tire stickers for this like they did with the MP28 Hot Rod mold and maybe a couple others. As for the sword? The energy blade stickers seem to be the best option, kinda like a go-to in the vein of Optimus's axe & Megatron's mace.

Energon blade works to me. The other does look like the combined minion team in Star saber mode. Still need to snag a Rodimus and better pop in Hobby Lobby and see if can find those tweezers.

I'm going with the cybertronian blade, reminds me of the star saber from transformers armada.

Great review PPR. 1) Energy Sword. Apart, the sticker set doesn't really stand out to me. Together, in vehicle/trailer mode, that's where this set shines.

I was pissed that my rodimus has a chipped tampoprint on the chest/hood. Now i can fix it.

I think the sword would look best with the Cybertronian blade and the golden handle personally

Thanks to years of gundam models panel lining I now have to panel line all my tfs

Some stickers they make look good....but something about some of the original designs I just do not like. I do however like that they give you options. These particular stickers make the trailer look great. I might actually get this set if...I say, if, I can actually find this toy.

I #ont remember rodimus ever having a sword but I dog the technical cybertron ver over the energy one

That double black line around the flame just ruins it for me - it looks blurry to me.

Hey mate. How’s the paintwork on the hood? The figure I got has scratches on it from the plastic straps and the black outline is a bit blurred and faint in spots. The exhaust on the arms is scratched in areas, also. Those can be easily repainted. But the imperfections on the hood are bothering me. Just wondering if this is normal for the price of this figure or if I received a dud!?!?
