@Tumadre.èsimpatica actually it was made by a japonese police man that was searching for a serial killer that was very famous in japan because it was a toy maker, after his wife finds out she commits suicide and this police man had the job of searching in the hause of the killer, there he finds the wife of the killer and month later gets cought. This police man keept seeing this women and the killer in his dreams for several years, so he makes this game, yeah i know your coment was made some years ago but i really want you to see again this video but from another perspective. Sorry for my bad english tho. -DS Pd: also the creator of the game(the police man) asks that you shouldnt get to deep in the game and after you see the women you really should stop playing.

nhi ng Possibly "why did you leave me" or "you left me", considering われた means "I was." Or possibly something like "you did this to me," if you take the kanji to mean "fault." I'm pretty good at conjugation, but I'm lacking a lot in kanji, so it's use here is a little too vague for me to get what it's trying to say. I don't fully understand the nuances of that kanji yet.

The use of textures and shadow effects way beyond what even a late-era DOS game like Carmageddon with hardware acceleration would've been able to pull off kind of kills the attempt to legitimately present itself as a obscure lost game from the 90s.

That's what i've been saying. Like, from the getgo, I could tell that it was just fanfic game (a good one, though), but even with that in mind, I found it's dynamic lighting hard to believe. As a Retro FPS nerd, I can tell you this: John Carmack couldn't make it work in Wolf3d. He had lighted sectors in Doom, but he couldn't get dynamic lighting working there either. If John Technowizard and Cosmic Space-Time-Continuum manipulator Carmack couldn't get it working, some random japanese game dev couldn't.

Yep, I'm pretty certain the actual person who made the game came out and confirmed it was a hoax inspired by the likes of the Theater game and whatnot. Kinda obvious considering some of the stuff in the game is very obviously lifted from stuff many years after DOS gaming was a thing. Like the twitching mask at 5:45 being from a 2010 anime of some kind.

This game seems to be inspired from the Theater game/creepypasta, which had a very similar story and moved in a very similar manner. Though it does have a bit more gameplay.

Mine gave "Runtime error" after a demon face appeared on the screen. When I try to access the control settings the game closes on its own. I do not know what else to do. Does anyone know how to get past this ??

3:13 "あなたは矢われた？" This roughly translates to "Were you arrowed?" Which with the Kanji that is being used is meant to refer to the kind you'd shoot out of a bow.

It's funny because the guy who brought Sad Satan to the mainstream (and totally developed it himself let's be real) also played this game. And it seemed like he was playing a modified version because stuff in his version wasn't in any of the versions anyone else played.
