Good times!
When I told my Dad about TRU re-opening his response summed it up: "what a terrible time to do that". Seriously, with the inflation the way it is, and the economy in general, it's not feasible to re-open a store that went bankrupt. I get what they're trying to do, they're trying to get people like me and bank on the nostalgia to be successful. There's one huge problem...most people my age (hopefully) stopped collecting Action Figures and playing Video Games in the way they did as kids. Maybe buying for our kids, yes, but thins are a lot different now than the 80's and 90's...the toys we enjoyed, they definitely would not. The $40+ for an action figure pricing definitely does NOT help either!

What’s going on with the WWE Superstars line? I’ve checked dozens of Walmarts over last month and only seen one Andre the Giant and one Hogan with blue pants.

Kids will never understand why Toys'R'Us was so amazing because they don't play with toys, they're too "old" for them even at age 8 these days. The problem is kids are trying to be adults by the time they're teenagers, if not earlier. They try to skip being kids and then, all of a sudden they're adults and have actual responsibilities and are complaining about it. To any kids reading this, enjoy your childhood while you can, you'll regret it if you do. I definitely don't, I had an amazing childhood, but I've noticed this about people younger than me. Then again I was fortunate enough to be born in the early/mid 80's, the last great years to be born in my opinion.
