Immense in every way. The Drums are tribal, the Guitars riff massively and the vocal is a wonderful mix of venom and fragility. One of my go to tracks for sanity for a long time now.

Remember when I got my first (import) record and I went so excited about it I could not sit or stand still in my room. The shows were legendary and wild back then. If the audience does not flip out here I wonder what on earth can make them flip out.

This was in Sacramento CA in a new music arena downtown. Sac was some what conservative then. I was here in 84. I was 23yrs. I was at this show.

They were still mostly an unknown band in 1984 and only had one album out. For this they were probably the opening act and no one ever heard of them.

Just watched the video which was brought to me via various posts of Nellie the Elephant starting with Mandy Miller’s version on which I have posted various comments along with the some under the ‘Nelly....’ version by Toy Dolls under which I also posted comments re Toy Dolls themselves qv. This, in turn, led me to this video which has expanded on my already affectionate love of Nellie and now, having watched this video I’m off to bed (hope I can sleep alright), bye ....... zzzzzz
