Never ignore the red flags. Never. Give a time to set down and talk things over. Constructive criticisms are really healthy even if it hurts (short-term) rather suffer and call your relationship quits.

I'm glad I'm out of the situation. I stayed in the toxic relationship because I felt like no one else will see me or love me. I had no self confidence and self love and so, I learned my worth the hard way yet I am soo glad I am done with that phase. To all those who feels the same, believe in love again and trust that God listens and answer your prayers.

Many of us romanticized love that lead us to become toxic. We feed our hearts and minds such things that are ideal (things that can happen only in fairytale). I love how the both of you use your heart and your mind in making decisions. Love is not always "Kilig". Its a commitment between two people. We should try everyday to make everything work. Working hard can lead us to a lifetime together. ❤

Pinalala payan ng pumutok yung Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tiktok. Yung tipong ipipilit yung kung ano yung nakita na “romantic” dun sa post tapos gusto ganon din yung gawin sa relationship, tapos yung quotes quotes na applicable lang dun sa nagpost pero iaapply nya sa sarili nya. For example yung babae nagpost na tinatalian yung sapatos nya ng lalaki tapos icacaption ng “if your man do this to you, keep him” nagkakaron ng illusion na dapat ganto yung qualities ng relationship, kapag hindi nangyari ikukumpara yung relationship nyo doon sa nakita nyang post sa social media. Haaays.

Ive been in a relationship 8 times already and karamihan ng cause is like what you have said they all wanted a “fairytale” like relationship. They all wanted kung ano yung nakikita nilang ginagawa ng ideal couple sa social media. All I wanted is a normal relationship, na yung tipong pinoproblema lang is saan gusto kumain hindi yung you have to fake everything just to look like you are in a fairytale. Ive been close with the family everything I did every time, I gave attention, understanding, pero hindi parin sapat kulang parin para sakanila. I cook, I drove them where they wanted to go, im closer to their family mas close pa sa kanila. Kaibigan ko lahat ng friends, hindi ako kill joy, I mean where did I gone wrong?

I think another thing that makes a relationship toxic is, when you don't give your partner an assurance with your intentions. Hindi naman binibigay ang assurance just because your partner asked for it. It can also start with you, yung assurance ng intentions mo, ng feelings mo. Kasi hindi naman fair na may ginawa ka lang na konting deed immediately, assurance na yun na you'll be confident na okay na yon. We all have our down times and we have to take consider yung past experiences ng partner natin, traumas, sad events na nangyari that may or could lead to that person thinking na baka hindi magwork ang relationship. I agree that communication is the main key to avoid toxicity in the relationship but we also have to take note that assurance is important as well with or without your partner asking for it.

Magiging toxic lang naman ang relationship when one of you start looking for another girl/guy to flirt with. The point is - the moment you declare your love to that person dapat kasama na dun yung faithfulness, fidelity & loyalty. Dapat di mo sya bibigyan ng whatsoever reason to doubt you para walang LQ or may lead someone to become suspicious of your actions. If you keep your focus on each other & you don’t take each other for granted then you can make the relationship last. And what’s this excuses that goes “Aahhhh..sobra nyang selosa/seloso…”. Helloooo…kung wala syang nakikitang cause for her/him to react that way, crazy ba yung tao. Of course not…kaya sya ganyan is because you are doing something to turn her/him that way. Aren’t you supposed to bring out the BEST in each other kaya give her all the reasons in this world why she/he should TRUST you di lang your language of love but match it up with your actions. Be sensitive towards each other’s needs and don’t forget to have fun with friends but no flirting aside that might bring issues later on. I mean this is real talk…at nangyayari talaga. I’m quite sure a lot of girls or women out there will agree. 😉💕
