I love this game! I know it's probably not a direction the developer would like/is capable of going, but I think the addition of just random people walking around the city would be too cool!

Awesome, you inspired me to look for interesting shapes and see what kind of buildings I can create. I also have a big city built and it is amazing how good it turned out from just a tiny first building. Now I have a castle, monastery on a mountain, cathedral, rich and poor districts, port and docks district, town hall, school, town square, barracks,gardens, shops, and a huge city wall. The whole city has sewers system and the caste is "furnished" inside Because the map size is limited I'm thinking about making another parts of the same city on different maps. The connecting them part would be the city wall as I could only fit a part of it on one map.

That sounds really good, I like the detail! It could be a really good lore/story map. I wish there were a way to connect separate builds/ grids. You can technically do that with Townshell. However it's more of a merging tool. So it would combine the builds instead of connect them. Are you in the discord? The members there would love it.

If this game has the same power on consoles I probably would've played it longer. It gets old much faster on consoles because of how limited the space is. No way I could make something like this on the Xbox version. Well _I_ couldn't make anything close to this regardless, but you know what I mean.

I like almost everything in this game except those stone walls/fences in the gardens. The way the game sets up for you are always kinda ugly.

I really like those, but I hate the design of the "metal" poles that appear. They are ugly af and clash with the style of the buildings.

I agree! I have a love hate relationship with scaffolding. Because as you said if you have a certain aesthetic in mind and you're not careful it can ruin it 😢
