Been to the shop before. The auntie is like that one. Even to customer, keep ask us to hurry... but the male boss is super nice, alway smiling and helpful

One of the nicest 综艺节目 from Mediacorp in the recent years, being hosted by a new host Rebecca Lim who really did a great job, very kind and friendly personality. Her interactions with the guest artist and shop owner and workers are so warmth and genuine. The 大姐 in this episode is just being her true self, even in front of the camera, so please don't make negative comment about her. She can be fierce but this shows her passion at work :)

She can be nice and show passion for her work too, isn’t it? I am sure Xiao ling in the previous episodes is showing lots of passion and she is nice. There is no excuse for bringing negativity into the workplace. So yes, she deserves to be scolded

Rebaker Lim too cute

this was a very pleasant episode , featuring Zetong and Rebecca. I must say this is really very very well done. Informative, and very fun to watch led me having a new found appreciation for traditional bakeries and bread. I was so happy when i saw rainbow bread, one of my childhood bread i ate with ice cream or kaya butter jam by itself. Really hope this tradtional bakery can continue to operate, and really kudos to the unsung heroes behind the scenes , who keep producing such quality bread and persistent in their craft.

Well done Rebaker Lim and your good looking assistant Zetong! Enjoy watching how u both partner together working out the challenge , with respect and support for each other ! This auntie really rude. I used to work with these kind of people during my secondary school (My first job). You will be super stress when she is watching you doing stuff, because they don't know what is 熟能生巧。They will scold you when you can't do 100% like what they did. Hence, you will be very anxious working with them. When you are anxious, you can't even do jobs well. Causing 恶性循环。Rebecca's temper really good.

Me too used to work at the aquarium, also the aunty acting like that... This is how tradition shop work culture are, ridiculously long working hours, some of the employees working there seem to develop depression always picked on younger employees except the boss, boss heck care and even when you complain nothing will be done, boss rather keep aunty instead of you because they know you can easily find another job than aunty with that attitude. The aquaruim I used to work are 12hrs per day and 2 days off maybe this bakery more torturing, but Singapore work ethic is just toxic and people willing to accept it due to the "East Asian Kiasu-ism" culture from our past refugee ancestors sail boat here with nothing so have to work like dogs to get money (it is also the same with South Korean and Japanese culture, check low birth rate). Singapore is just limited welfare, limited pension, almost no union, crab in the bucket mentality and working 16hrs like this will does this to most humans, pretty sure the ang mo will say "hard no" to this work culture. The aunty working like this will eventually turn bitter and anixety buildup all stack to explode every mins in work and at home, because this is not their life supposedly to turn out. I might be harsh to say this but I wish most tradition shops to close down and let them just work in macdonald or kopitiam more flexable timing and salary not bad enough to survive, if the children willing to pay for electricity/water bills

Got Kaya, peanut 🥜 and vegetables oil and strewberry and green Kaya. All's bread 🍞 adds in any these, amount is S$3.20 the same

Boss of the bread company should let's staffs go for workforce skills course. Sop already not correct
