Thanks, Brian. Great video! I had read somewhere else that when towing, the car automatically changes to Fun mode by default to have the all-wheel drive… interesting that it is, in fact, fun mode only. Keep up the great work.

Finally a Fisker towing video. It would be great to see a follow up where you test the trailer lights beforehand, (which is recommended), and have a second car tracking and filming you to see if brake lights are working while driving, show exterior shots while towing and talking about the total weight of the load your pulling. It might also be helpful to see a battery consumption test where you do the same trip twice to show how much battery you use with and without the trailer. Lastly, I’ve read that the 4000 lb. max capacity requires trailer brakes. But I can’t find additional info on that. Any idea what would happen if you didn’t have trailer brakes with a big load?

Thanks for watching and commenting! I also appreciate your suggestions. We have a teardrop camper w/ 3800lbs GVWR, so I will look to do a short trip with it for the next towing video. Unfortunately, since Fisker removed kWh usage, we'll have to rely solely on miles & battery percentage. Thanks again for your suggestions.

nice video.....thanx.on mine i just press the button in the boot and the hook with the connector slides out and the ocean stays in fun mode(got the sport)wich makes no difference as it is front wheel drive.got more then 1 ton of concrete stuff for the garden and the ocean is a very nice tow vehicle.never had that blinker issue......greets from austria.👍👍

I would love to know what range it would have towing a 3000 pound boat. Nobody has done tow tests with this vehicle yet.

Great Video as always!! Quick question I noticed when you turned the Ocean on you were in Fun Mode already. My car always starts in Earth mode, how did you pull this off?

Think long and hard about that decision. The vehicle looks great, has excellent range and the price is stellar...but you have no idea on future availability of parts, service and OTAs. I have owned multiple EVs for several years but wouldn't touch this vehicle. Weak BMS, weak regenerative braking, weak charging curve, no battery preconditioning, no PAAK, no NFC card, software bugs. More importantly, take a look at all the used Oceans for sale that have less than a 1000 miles and ask yourself why. Also, take a look at Adams Everything EV for a balanced (good and bad) review of the Ocean. He only uses his as a grocery getter over bricking concerns.
