    I haven't dealt with CHP as i am in Georgia but typically interstate calls i use as much attention grabbing PPE gear as i can. Lights, cones, and high visibility gear. Take your time and watch your back. I always work on the opposite side of traffic and walk backwards toward the truck. I only secure the vehicle enough to move to a safer location to finish my tie downs.

    It sounds like you're fairly new in business ( less than 5 yea, s id guess) when starting with motorclubs, you always start toward the bottom of the list. They send the calls to their priority contractors first. The best way is to focus on your retail marketing, in my opinion.

  • @Guardianautoservices

    @Guardianautoservices

    Жыл бұрын

    Typically it's a hook fee then mileage. You can offer flat rate in a given area also. Everyone prices differently. Most light duty is 75-100 to hook and 4-5 a mile now. But you can always call around in your area and see what others charge. But figure out what makes you money. Your bills are different than anyone elses.

    Not really. The cheapest provider always gets the work. But, you can network with them and be a "non contracted" service provider. Typically, you can get closer to retail rates. I also did alot of out of area calls in which i could charge mileage. Worked for me back then when i was small.
