Love Islands lost its appeal the same way TOWIE did. All these types of show have a shelf life & trends change. It’s no longer a show which guarantees instant fame. Interestingly the winter season’s contestants failed to make an impact with the public, not one of them came out to a huge following. We’re no longer going to see these people achieve instant success, signing up to cheap clothing companies, tooth whitening & all this influencer nonsense all off the back of a reality show. I’d love to see Lauren get her true happy ever after & a steady career but until she’s honest with herself & takes the advice she’s sought her life will continue on this rollercoaster. She’s a nice girl but she clearly wasn’t cut out for a life in the public eye. I wish her well

The fact the host considers her to be inspiration in any way after all she's committed, notably: - she admitted to promoting products on Instagram she'd never tried, essentially fraud - her cosmetic surgery is excessive and potentially damaging to young women - she films herself on Instagram whilst driving, putting other people at risk I cannot take this seriously - there is nothing inspirational about her or her story.

I don't agree with the surgery comment. People shouldn't be so socially responsible for other people's self esteem that they feel like they shouldn't have a cosmetic procedure they want. The problem is she's had way too much, but for some people it provides a confidence boost and can even improve their looks, provided they don't go overboard like her. Also, more men are having stuff done these days. But maybe you're against any kind of body modification. I would guess so since you like some anti transgender videos.

Also, I admire her openness about her cosmetic procedures. I think bashing people for altering their appearance is just as bad as fat shaming. It’s never nice to judge someone because of their appearance. It’s actually incredibly vacuous and embarrassing.

Botox is okay I think and if you’re on TV then naturally, you’d succumb, she was insecure anyway and being on TV in her 20s didn’t help, women especially, get more secure with age, I was very insecure in my 20s but I’m 40 next month and finally secure with myself, I always hated having small boobs but now I like them, they aren’t saggy at all and if they had have been big then they’d be saggy by now.

I have always thought Lauren was very pretty with a nice realistic figure that young girls can feel comfortable looking at. It pains me though to see her in the media lately though. Her beauty business will be very successful but she self sabotages herself constantly. I realise she needs exposure to sell her self tanning but she needs to re brand. Get away from Towie and stop talking about MR and MK. I believe she is a hard worker with good ideas about beauty products but her media profile lately is very bad. Matt use your expertise to help.
