The cast members do an excellent job at maintaining a certain character on the job. Its amazing.

i went on this ride once and as a prank it stopped above the drop zone then they said were experiencing technical difficulties then after about a minute the voice on the intercom screamed april fools and we and the ride began it scared the living shit outta me

just go on it! i was scared too but ended up loving it, that's why it's fun! the entire set of this ride is amazing, there is so much detail in the hotel. i love the whole thing.

I was riding the WDW one once (after riding it 3ish times earlier the same day) and, in the first shaft where all you do is move up, it paused before ascending from the ghost corridor to the 4th dimension corridor. It was scary b/c I knew there wasn't supposed to be a pause at that moment. Another time I went on it, I go off and there was a thunderstorm outside.

Went on this expecting out car to launch up in the air at the start, not drop 2 stories right away. Took us by surprise, lol

I went on this when I was a kid, I was too scared to get on a regular elevator for months after lol

It was the 4th version of the drop programs the Tower (T) had. It was just a shortened, code like, way of saying Tower of Terror-version 4.

One time when I was like 7, I was in the front row and the bellhop game me a creepy evil grin. Then the doors closed.

My brother went on that ride But me and my mother didn’t

LOL last year when i went for the summer to the one in Paris, i went on The Tower Of Terror and all they had were seatbelts and two bars on each side of the chair to hold on too, not that i really held onto them because i saw a person picking his nose in the queue O.o

Tower of Terror is my fav ride ever i mean who doesn't like free fall rides

I remember when they didn't have harnesses, and it was just a bar that held you in. I almost flew out because I was sharing a bench with a fat man. I was terrified.

There was a time where a couple people tried to ride this without strapping their lap belts on, but were caught during the drop sequences. Now that there’s sensors for the lap belts and seats, the ride won’t start until every occupants’ belt is buckled.

Has anyone got a video of this. It sounds hilarious!

the drops in the one at california adventure seem much longer...

its because there not a randomized drop. this one is.

They have harnesses now? I went to Paris this year with my school and it didn't but maybe it changed in another park...

I went on this ride and the staff on the ride take their job to serious its funny.

You don't go up, it goes faster than gravity so you would be falling slower than it if the seatbelts weren't there to pull you down

Too bad they F*d up the ride system they used for CA, Tokyo & Paris, since those ride systems aren't 'Modern Marvels'.

I didn't know they changed the ride up since I was last there (1998). They should bring the T4 element or whatever to the California version which is good but not as good as the Orlando one imo

That probably was a prototype name before changing it

They didn't want to spend the $ :/

Same basic ride but the designs are different. WDW has the most advanced in the way that their ride has more shafts, moving cars, and effects. All the other ones are more advanced in the way that they are a small design and save money as well as time loading.

It is a bit sad that I found this ride to be a huge disappointment. :(
