At a certain point of growth as a musician it does become easy. Hundreds of hrs to reach that point.

David Garibaldi is THE MAN! Rocco is THE BASS PLAYER SUPREME. What the heck.........................TOWER OF POWER ARE THE KINGS OF FUNK. I want me some of that.

This wakes me up... ;)
There are a lot of live TOP videos on youtube and there are examples of some off nights (for them anyway) where they're not quite in the groove or the tempo fluctuates but this video is a great example of the band at their best. They are unmistakably in the pocket and feeling it on this one.

Actually, they're not really from Oakland, Doc's from Livermore and Rocco and Emilio are from Fremont. It's easier to say Oakland than to mention little towns.
