The one and only Mic Gillette. 😊🎺
Larry is nothing short of incredible! He reminds me of Philip Bailey but doesn't have to use falsetto that often. He's also a helluva showman! He's the truth!
Oh my, this is the first song I remember when I first fell in love! Beautiful memories, and yes, I married my childhood sweetheart.. ""Tears""
Larry Braggs is the man!!!!!!!!!!!!
How many folks love this jam back in the 70’s summertime on a dirt road was my memory.. Back then you playing 45 and leave the handle open so it would repeat over and over..You just sing the parts you, I like to walk with you down them golden streets,”..And how about the beginning that high intro… I was hooked then and now.. And Tower and Power band with all that brass.. great great with a beautiful message. LB September 2021

Yep.
TOP was my husbands favourite band and had tickets to see them at the O2 London, instead played this song at his funeral xx
LOVE IT !!!!!!!I'M IN LOVELAND
He's fucking incredible. I mean really, I have never heard a singer like him. His range and power is mind boggling to me; and his control, articulation, versatility, pitching, timing and dexterity are all flawless. He sings notes way above tenor C with more power than most female singers, without using falcetto, and yet can still sing the lower notes well. He is a freak of nature, with mountains of acquired skill on top of that

Really good front man but his pitch is not good. Never was, listen closely, he sings flat a lot. That is not debatable. I get it though, tons of Tower fans loved the guy. Not me. 😊🎺

Anthony Estrada.....Compared to Lenny Williams, TOP's second lead singer, this guy doesn't have the pipes, the crystal clear voice of Lenny is second to none and a fantastic front man, not a showman, a great vocalist. This guy overdoes it and ruins the song.
Chester Thompson has been Carlos Santana's musical director for years. Greg Adams left the band in the early 90's and is still doing his solo smooth jazz thing. Bruce Conte actually came back to the band 3 years ago and stayed for about a year then left again to do solo projects. Lenny Williams is still doing solo stuff. Skip Mesquite just recently passed away. So right now, having 5 (half the band) original members ain't too bad.
Oh yeah😍😘🤩😚😎🤣😂😁
Noticing that Mic Gilette is on the trumpet with nis interesting, because Mic is an original member of the band. My only question is (aside for lenny Pickett) where's the rest of the guys?
I've always thought that most TOP singers, like this one, are far too selfish with the arrangement. My god, such an amazing band, and these ego vocalists act like it's all about the singer, filling up every little crack of every tune. People come to hear Tower of Power.
Sen-sa-cio-nal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I must say, with all respect, Larry blows all past T.O.P singers away.
Check Lenny Williams out; then get back to me!
too fast and the vocalist needs to lay off a bit
Better than Lenny Wiillams? NOT!
