I always appreciated youtubers like you who followed on to the webtoon after watching season 1 because you were invested in the story. It really feels that much more rewarding with the 4 year wait for the second season to drop. I loved binge reading with you throughout the years. It has been a while, and so far, the wait was worth it! I cannot wait to now watch your anime reactions again!

Nice to meet you! I'm a fan of NiziU, the group that sings the opening and ending songs for this anime. NiziU is a 9-member Japanese girl group. They are a junior group of Stray Kids, who sang the theme song for Tower of God Season 1. They belong to Sony in Japan and JYP in Korea, and the songs they sing are a fusion of JPOP and KPOP. The opening song is "RIZE UP" and the ending song is "Believe". "RIZE UP" has been available digitally since yesterday. In addition to the Japanese version, you can also listen to the English and Korean versions. And the music video will be released on the 13th. Please listen if you like. As for "Believe," it is a song included in the CD that will be released on July 24th, so it is not available for digital distribution at this time.

Quick info guys, the s2 of the anime is confirmed to be divided in 2 cours(Return of the prince, Workshop battle) (13 ep each probably) You guys were wondering how much episodes will it take for the anime to catch up where u guys left off on the manhwa and it should only be on the beginning of the 2nd cour or at best in the end of the first cour.

People online saying animation was a downgrade need their eyes checked. Season 1 had nice art style, but the animation barely showed any fluid or strong choreo. The new art style is like a cleaner webtoon style but with actual movement in the animations other than stills like in the past.

@@Gee-bg2rv Yeah I guess I don't really have qualms with the actual frame sequencing, that's way better, but I'm really sad to lose that hand-drawn aesthetic of S1. The new art style has like no personality, it's the same as every other action anime now

Phenomenal 1st episode to S2. I'm rusty like yall on what's to come. It's been 2+ years since I last read it. I just know that it's going to start to get so much better from here

New anime recommendation: Wistoria Wand and Sword, if you want to see REALLY good anime I highly recommend it to you guys.

So happy they're continuing with the anime, since the style has pretty much changed this season, but trust me the story only gets wild and amazing from here

I'm really thrilled that the animation has been improved. It's definitely gonna draw more viewers to watch the incredible story that is ToG.

@@bennytocamelot Yes, it was unique but that’s actually because in the early chapters of the manhwa the author’s drawing skills weren’t exactly the best lol. However, over time he has improved tremendously and the art style is more modern. So while the previous one looked unique when animated, some people weren’t too thrilled by it due to the lack of expressive frames compared to the animation of say Solo Levelling. Honestly, I didn’t mind it because I knew how fantastic the story was but I’m also delighted to see the improvements as I know it will only get better from here on out.

I have read the manhwa way back then,and i would say,this season will be one of the best part of tower of god and I'm excited to see people reaction of it,especially seeing bam in this season.

I like to read before watching shows or movies. Especially with solo leveling the animation and music just makes it a better experience even if you know what’s going to happen.

TOG anime is cooking!!! They changed the quality, more shadings, and the anime studio add more details and background that were not existed in the webtoon. The background or panorama in the webtoon were mostly empty.

I've read that s2 of the anime will cover until the end of the Workshop battle arc, for those asking. 2 full arcs then, Hand of Arlen (which is the one you finished on while reading the manwha i believe) and Workshop battle. Good things to come, and probably 24 episodes at least. What they changed in the anime so far in this season is the exact time we viewer are revealed this mysterious figure is Baam (in the manwha they let it cook more, not revealing it 100% until later). The added last image of s1 already revealed this side of the story. That's still a minor change. What they added to fit better than s1 is the way Endorsi reacted to Baam's death, which was very bad in s1. I'm happy they got back on that and are trying to push it in the right direction.

Season 1 is still such a brilliant season of anime for me, and I believe it came at a perfect time where anime was becoming ever so slightly stale and repetitive. It was really disappointing hearing that S2 wasn't immediately greenly but man, I hope they can deliver another great season. And based on this first episode, we're in for a treat.

I felt like that discussion could've went longer but steph kinda cut it short unintentionally.

guys, I want to suggest 1 new anime this season that I just watched. the title is Tsue to Tsurugi no Wistoria, its really recommended you guys to watch and react it. with its beautiful graphics and good angles and the fight scene is not stiff and like a movie. tells the story of a boy who has no magic who wants to be the top person in the magic world. I hope you guys will react to this anime 👍

Yes, there’s a time skip of about 6 years between season 1 and 2 in universe.

This is a whole different studio btw but same artstyle tho
