people criticizing this that Africans seeking to unite is not a new phenomena.... imo some form of unity must take place in order to combat european, arab, chinese, etc. hegemony...i don't necessarily agree with turning the entire continent into one country, but some form of unity must take place...and when I speak of unity, I don't mean it in a "utopian" sense...dubois, malcolm, and martin bridging connections with nkrumah = one example of unity.

When Africans themselves decide- maybe divide the continent into 5 or 7 large countries based roughly on geographical/cultural regions. This would then serve as the base for a new more focused African Union. Larger, fewer countries would be able to use the natural resources more efficently.

Why were we created only to lives a lifetime of oppression. What is so bad and wrong about us that we deserve to be the foot stool for so many. Well i like your arguement, but Sudan was the first to got it indepent from British in 1951 than Ghana, but Western world use people, Ghana had non in the region of Africa, what role hey talk play in Africa! The war of today in this world is about resouces, Ghana have non in Africa! But to me, it doesnt matter, we all Africans, Im not proud about our independent as Sudanese or as a black! It was our weak to let this people to our land!

You don't come across as an African.

Three & a half colonizing languages is not ideal. Two Afrikan indigenous languages & English & French is enough... I would even suggest three Afrikan languages & English. France's stranglehold on 15 Afrikan countries must be broken.. There was never "Liberte, Egalite & fraternite" for the Afrikans, assimilation is just talk. They are needed for serfdom. Many are left to die in French waters and beyond. Yet their peoples wealth are paid to France in billions annually and they have to pay France interest to get some of their own money under the "Pact for the Continuation of Colonisation", created on the 9th April 1944.

I don't think the "United States of Africa" would be in the best interests of all Africans. South Africa, Nigeria, Botswana, and Gabon would control all the affairs in economy, and Africa is FAR too diverse for a union of africa to happen...however, look up East African union, that looks good enough

As a Afrikan Citizen, uncolonized.....I grossly disagree with you. We Afrikans have been pushing hard for a non-tribal universal language in which to unite ALL of Afrika, we have decided that Kiswahili accomplishes this feat quite adequately. As for me, "Urithi wangu ni Balanta na Zulu." So my Heritage alone spans from Northwest Afrika to South Central Afrika. We are actively striving for what you claim cannot be done. Please, in your biased comment, do not underestimate the power nor possibility of "Alkebulani Unity!" It was the European invasion of 1884 that truly divided us. We are slowly healing from it's devastation. Ubuntu Ma'at Ase' 🙏🏿 Uhuru
