She sang this in İstanbul in the pouring rain I don't think I am ever gonna reach that kinda Climax again. Like I pinned down where I stand cried my eyes out even though I have a beatiful, exciting 5 year relationship but in that moment I left it all out.

Not to play pretend to be a psychologist and an unsolicited one at that, and I am presumably as likely to be far off to Mars or even further as I am in being correct. Still, my mediocre accuracy, at best, regarding gut feeling is that it gave you flashbacks to a past relationship gone sour (to put it mildly) and that this is, understandably, tormenting to some degree. It is not a matter of "I wish I was with him instead of my current BF" (I'm assuming you're a lady) but merely a sadness from the wasted opportunity and irreplaceable loss of our least replaceable resource, time, and in 2nd place, faith, and maybe above all, grief over the death of some innocence of spirit [nativity] now long gone? Well, enough waffling on my part, so I'll see myself out with a "9 months old comment, so I sincerely hope you'll soon have a joyous 6th anniversary, and if kids are in your future, may they be plentiful for you clearly, to me at least, seem to have the gift of empathy, reflective ability, and emotional openness. PS: My go-to, any wishlists be damned, gift for any wedding I'll ever attend, is this book, which is basically all the relationship communication skills (incl. conflict resolution skills) we all should have been taught: "The Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work" (audiobook version is ace, though the couple's exercises need printed/downloaded version. The background for all this seemingly weird lengthy commentary can be summed down to the principle I was raised with: "He who has the ability, [also] has the obligation." and pay it forward whenever possible. The (famous) principles by Gottman, e.g., "repair attempts," among many more, are also helpful regarding friends, colleagues, bosses, etc. On an unrelated note, I spent high school in Copenhagen in a part of town where 1/3 of the students were Turkish. I also spent a day in Istanbul (signing on a ship as a 3rd mate in the Bosphorus Strait, northbound, a decade ago), and it's a genuinely charming and hospitable city. She's not afraid to be honest & raw with her incredible vocals... truly one of the most talented pop artists out there. I just absolutely love her!! I guess that's why I've got 2 Tove tats, might get a 3rd after I hear the new album!!

How can anyone be so fukin perfect!!!! This song hits me so damn hard every time. It has so much meaning to me. When she says "saved you from that room"... 😢 I just bawl my eyes out. Because I'm locked in a room for about 23 hours a day. I'm hopeless. Helpless. So tragic.... just shut away from everyone. I have all of this love that I am scared to share. I love deeply but I hate myself. Tove, I love you and your music. You don't understand the impact of your music to me.
