Just to be clear. To those who doesn't know this anime. This is not a BL/Yaoi or something because this is not centered to this two. Cardcaptor Sakura or CARDCAPTORS is a Magical Girl type of anime. But I didn't say this couple wasn't a thing. Believe me they are. They're basically Friends to Bestfriends to Lovers. They didn't confirmed in anime because "It is Rated G" and Japan is Conservative thingy back in 90s. But this couple is hinted even at the very start of their appearance together.

If only they could have kept the original English dub voices and tried to keep the more japanese and more subtle romantic contexts. To be fair, the stuff that aired in Canada kept most of the scenes in context (outside of name changes), it was the USA version that got some cuts. I know Kero's surfer voice was silly, but it was awesome in comparison to the new high pitched voice.
