Thank you for coming to Siargao. I know it is not what you expected due to the damages left by the typhoon but every money generated by tourism will help the island to rebuild and hopefully Siargao will be back in its glory.

You guys did the exact trip I did in 2020. I was in sairgao in late February March and told the island was going into lockdown. Unfortunately I left to return to my 9 to 5 job. Have fun guys.

Love daniel for loving the monggo. Some of us hate it because it is served in the student dorms on fridays…. tomsignifynthat we shouldn’t eat meat during lent….and it sort of became part of the culture to serve mongo on fridays…… the ilocanos put chicharon…. So there is the meat.

Good on ya doing the surfing, want to learn when I get back next month, you looked good '' it was crack '' heard you say guess that the same as it was sick ? love that lumpia ! and good that there is some money changing hands for the locals after that disaster typhoon Odette, Mola Boal was also affected badly, good video you two , cheers !

I'm a Siargao resident. Mother nature has really recovered amazing quick compared to right after the typhoon hit. By January of next year I doubt visitors will see much damage. It's us humans who will take the longest to recover.

Ang saya nyo naman dyan..medyo.sad lng kasi damage parin mga tress namin..

That is a great time to explore with some shower continuously I love those time.

Despite popular western opinions, breakfast is the most important meal of the day. That is essentially the battery/energy you'll be using up to jump-start your day. Thats why Filipinos eat a big breakfast with meat and rice. Are you guys from Ireland..? I recognise the accent. Anyway, you seem like a lovely couple. It was fun but the rain felt like a pellet gun hitting us haha. No we actually didn’t just this lagoon we went to, next time for sure!

Not all of the Philippines has the same seasons. Some seasons are reversed depending on which part of the country you're in. Some areas don't have a dry or rainy season.

La Niña is still around hence the rains during summer season. It will remain until april or early May.

surprised daniel didnt jump off the coconut tree jump point. the tides of magpupungko is like that it, looks like its coming in but just goes back to the ocean as long as it is low tide. im happy to see at least that one is intact, was afraid the water would have destroyed the pools and the rocks, glad they are still there.

When was this video shot? Just wanted to know because I'm planning to go there and I'm coming from halfway across the world, could you help me with some info if siargao is rebuilt or currently in recovering state? I'm going in December

Get the judt out of the local oven or pugon pan de coco (Coconut bun) there in Siargao. In General Luna. They are really good and sells fast.
