Tourists Don't Come This City in Papua New Guinea! 🇵🇬

Tourists Don't Come This City in Papua New Guinea! 🇵🇬
Welcome to my channel! Join me on an eye-opening journey as we delve into the lesser-known corners of Papua New Guinea, a land of diverse cultures, breathtaking landscapes, and unique experiences. In this documentary-style video, I venture into the heart of Papua New Guinea, where tourists seldom tread and solo buffalo roam freely.
Explore with me as I navigate the intricate web of Papua New Guinea's borders, including its connection with Indonesia, shedding light on the geopolitical dynamics shaping this region. From the bustling streets of Vanimo to the serene shores of Aitape, we'll uncover the raw beauty and challenges faced by the people living in these remote areas.
But our journey doesn't stop there. I'll take you beyond the surface, deep into the fabric of Papua New Guinea's society, where ancient tribes coexist with modernity. Through interviews and firsthand accounts, we'll gain insight into the rich tapestry of traditions and customs that define life in Papua New Guinea.
However, amidst its natural splendor and cultural wealth, Papua New Guinea is not without its struggles. We'll confront the harsh realities of life in dangerous cities like Port Moresby, where chaos and crime often overshadow the beauty of the land.
Join me as we navigate the complexities of Papua New Guinea, from the lush forests of Papua Island to the contested territories of West Papua and beyond. Through this immersive experience, you'll gain a deeper understanding of a country often overlooked by mainstream tourism.
So, whether you're an adventurer at heart or simply curious about the world around you, come along on this journey as we uncover the hidden truths of Papua New Guinea.
Don't forget to like, share, and subscribe for more captivating content on unique destinations around the globe! 🇵🇬

Your video title and Thumbnail is damaging the reputation of Papua New Guinea. As someone who travels extensively across South America and Asia, I have had the opportunity to visit Papua New Guinea multiple times. During my visits, I have been struck by the kindness and warmth of the people despite the challenges they face. It's important not to generalize a specific city in Papua New Guinea. If you're open to exploring other places, I encourage you to visit Tijuana, Mexico and experience it for yourself. In my experience, I've found that in Papua New Guinea, there is a strong sense of respect towards foreigners, especially those of white ethnicity. This aspect of their culture is quite evident. I strongly urge you to reconsider your video title, as it does not accurately capture the beauty and richness of this island nation. Instead of solely seeking likes and views, I suggest crafting a title that is more accurate and representative of the realities of the country. Just a friendly suggestion! 😄

Please edit your " Screen title" its confusing. Do you mean to "warn Tourists not to come to PNG" or " informing viewers that Tourists never visited the city you visit". By the way, you are not the first nor the last tourist and PNG is a Beautiful place. Also read some books to improve on your English and for fact finding about PNG.

International Tourist. Please, whatever you hear or see on media isn't as bad as you may think? Every country has its downside. Once you arrive in PNG, off course, you will feel uneasy. As the days go by & people understand you, you will be well respected by the locals. There might be some places that are off-limits, but people will advise you. Alotau, Milne Bay Province. 🇵🇬

  • @micahsafatigi8630

My friend, I'm not sure if this is all part of the act or not. You should have done your research and understood the PNG currency. The boat to Aitape is PGK200 or PGK150, which is around $50 USD (not $200 USD), and the same goes for the hotel or guest house for the night. This is cheap compared to big cities like Port Moresby or Lae. If you're using USD, then it shouldn't be a problem for you, as the USD is stronger than the PNG Kina. Everyone is friendly here in PNG. However, generally, it seems like you need more views, likes, and money from KZread based on the look of your title. You should consider changing your title and thumbnail. We have good tourists and bad tourists, and you don't want to be categorized as the latter.

Corrections here. It's not dollars but PNG kina. Not 150 dollars but 150 kina which is equivalent to $40 . The cheapest room of 50 dollars is equivalent to $15. Food of K15 is not the same as $15 . But it's $3. 200 kina boat ride is not the same as $200 as he is speaking. It's $50 . My point is dollars and kinas. PNG services are provided in kina and not dollars. If they say K200 ,it doesn't mean 200 dollars. 200 kina is equivalent to $50.

Don't expect anything five star and you can have a five star experience, not in material things but in people connection. Just change change the title to "land of the unexpected" or "dangerous but beautiful " if yu wanna seem adventurous and brave 🤷‍♂️. Yur not wrong PNG does have its bad sides and so does every country. But welcome to the land of the unexpected. An advice Next time get a guide.

Boat fee to Aitape is 150 Kina, not dollars, and rice is not 15 dollars its about 6kina ($1.5) per kilo. Too much lies in this video. Do your research about a place before you travel. Vanimo is in the outskirts of Papua New Guinea and prices of fuel and certain goods or services are naturally higher unlike mainland PNG.

Do not confuse US dollar and Kina. 50 kina equal to 12.85 USD.. 15 Kina equal to 3.85 USD. 150 Kina equal to 38.54 USD . A kind of tourist like you are ones who put other tourists in danger. Where you go to are remote areas where services is not good. In the island culture they can charge service but can also help if you don't have any money. What you can do in return is give positive comments about them. Otherwise you are risking lives of others who will come after you. Avoid doing such in any pacific country.

The price given was in kina... you took it wrong and got a hefti price for it. Tourists come to png and laugh about prices. Bro you need a better guide

Vanimo and Wewak are small towns not cities. You will not find most of the luxuries you enjoy in a big city. Do your research, stop relying on hearsay. We use Kina here not dollars, it is 3-4 times less than $1US. The plate of food you mentioned converted to US dollars would be roughly 3-4 dollars....useless never come back here... kok pekpek laki yu go pinis na postim.

Seems like you are not financially prepared to travel to make memories! PNG is a nice Nice place. People are friendly but only few crimes. Offense we have power issues but hopefully will be okay soon. 165 kina is equivalent to 40Dollars which is cheap. Thats Not expensive compared to other countries back packers rooms rangers $70 to $90 thats more expensive. Even 150 kina ($ 35) for boat fee is too cheap. This is RACIST Not fair reporting!

In PNG we may bad but we have our good side we have over 800 different languages and we have some good food and some good places like Loloata a privet island owned by a Indian man But the bad side we do have tribes that still fight and some bad people but it’s ok 👌

What is your intention with the way you titled this video and the thumbnail you've used??? Just click bait aye? If you do not edit the title and thumbnail to make it less hyperbolic, I suggest all viewers report this video so it can be taken down, because it is highly sensationalized, misleading and damaging to PNG's reputation internationally.
