Touring the Outer Hebrides, the Isle of Harris, Scotland - Part 4
This video is filmed in 4K and is part of a series touring the beautiful Outer Hebrides, Scotland in our little white motorhome.
PART 4 - In this video we travel by ferry from Berneray to Leverburgh on the Isle of Harris, where we spend two nights at Pairc Niseaboist campsite and explore the local area.
PART 1 - we start our journey from Oban, taking the Caledonian MacBrayne ferry to Castlebay, Barra. Our first campsite is Borve Camping and Caravan site and it's from here we start to explore the Isles of Barra and Vatersay.
PART 2 - we move on to Scurrival Campsite, where we discover more beautiful beaches, the ancient Cille Bharra Church and of course the famous Barra Airport where we film the aircraft taking off and landing on the beach - a magical experience.
PART 3 - We take a ferry to the Isles of Uist, where we stay at two different campsites, Moorcroft Holidays and Balranald Campsite, plus a fantastic park-up next to an incredible beach on Berneray.
PARTS 5 - In this episode we leave Pairc Niseaboist Campsite and treat ourselves to a week's stay in an apartment with stunning views overlooking Luskentyre beach - you seriously do not want to miss this....what an amazing place! We continue to explore the Isle of Harris and make our way to the Hushinish region travelling along a twisty and very picturesque 12 mile single track road. The journey is worth the effort, it was a beautiful drive and we were treated to some spectacular rainbows !
PART 6 - We move on to the Isle of Lewis before catching the ferry back to the mainland.

Harris is the best! I never thought it would be possible to capture its wonderfulness without experiencing it, but you seem to have done just that 😊

Thanks Jen, it was great you could join us there - just a shame about the weather, but I guess we did get one or two decent days. You must join us next time we go to Harris but for a bit longer next time :-)

Thank you for your comment. You are right, the beaches could be in the Caribbean, but when you put your big toe in the water you realise you are in the Outer Hebrides !!

Thanks for your comment, much appreciated. We get all our music from Epidemic Sound and I believe the song you mentioned is 'Varyra' by Sandra Marteleur.
I suggest the Scottish Tourist board employ you 😉

There are few trees hidden in sheltered places but not many!
I love these types of videos. Other than just background music, I think they could be enhanced by some audio. Aussie Doug.

Thanks for your comment. Tricky one this, most of the comments we recieve like the fact we don't do voice over and keep titles to a minimum and let the photography do the "talking"...but maybe sometimes some additional audio might be good! Thank you
