    I have a 2022 Tmax and after owning 30 odd other bikes , find the Tmax really good. My only beef is that being 6 ft 2, the bars hit my knees on tight turns. I mostly remember to stick my knee out but if I don't it is awkward and painful. I find the handling safe, comfortable and the bike is quite quick while touring or enjoying the twisties. Also, being one who likes pushing on a bit, I'm far less likely to get booked on this bike Stress free cruising at 120kmh plus is a piece of cake. The wannabe tough guys tend to look away, but that's their problem.

    Hi friend I'm 6-ft and have a 2020 TMax, I've already put 33000 miles on it and it's still fantastic!!.. I tend to keep my legs stretched out, it is a great position to get used to riding on such a large scooter, you can stretch your legs out to the max, this way your knees will be nowhere near the handlebars when cornering, I've had to re adjust,and now thoroughly enjoy riding with my legs stretched all the way out my mate is 6-ft 4 and rides exactly the same and has no problem 👍🏽👍🏽😊

    Only downside to owning a T Max is its the weapon of choice for scooter gangs. I had one for two years and never felt absolutely safe on it driving around London. Final straw for me was being followed to my home by two scrotes on s scooter after they tried to highjack me. Other than that its the most competent allrounder I've ever owned.

    I have T-Max DX 2017 with electronic windscreen, cruise control etc. Last September I had a 3000 km tour by it in Europe. TMax is perfect bike for that kind of tours! I can carry a tent, sleeping bag and sleeping pad under the seat for camping. Cooking facilities e.g. Trangia and foods can be carried in back box. Clothes can be carried in a backback which is easy to tie to back seat. TMax has also enough power to ride in all kinds of hills, mountains and also motorways and it is capable enough also for passing lower speed drivers. Thanks to adjustable windscreen, higher speed driving is so quiet that I can listen books and music during driving, also in motorway speeds. Adjustable windscreen is excellent equipment also in the rains and stronger winds. @deanbab and @grkm82 - I give a strong recommendation for a T-Max!

    I have a TMax and love it. Also own a Multistrada 950S and another high capacity cruiser. The TMax is my machine of choice for any ride. The only time I find it compromised is rides on single track over the Welsh ranges, it gets choppy and uncomfortable. I’m now considering selling my Ducati, the TMax basically delivers more fun. Teasing sports bike riders through the twisties could become addictive lol.

    I recently sold a R1200GS. I had a couple of them over the last 10 years or so. One of the main reasons I bought it was to handle heavy winds on the motorway and to deal with the blast from big vehicles going past. Any thoughts on how well the TMax handles a strong sidewind? The few comments I've found relate to older models and were not positive.

    excellent video pal. I honestly believe that this type of bike is well suited to touring. I own the honda forza 350, and i use that for long trips, but I am thinking about the T max as it is more powerful, and has more of the features I would like for touring. Cruse control being at the top of my list. Thanks for putting the miles in...

    I'm a cafe racer driver; recently had some 700 miles trip in europe and started considering an additonal touring bike lately .. Do you think the t max could be a good accompany for a long euro trip? Terrains would be quite problematic I recon, but I would love to hear your opinions about T max's long road performance. Cheers from Istanbul

    @@grkm82 hi friend I have to say the TMAX 560,is a very capable all-rounder, The person that convinced me sold his Yamaha tracer 900 in order to get a Yamaha TMAX 560 he has just recently bought a 2022 model, replacing his 2020 model, used to be a motorcycle training instructor and has gone through many bikes including a Yamaha fjr1300, which he tells me is one of the very best, and the Kawasaki Versys 1000 for Sheer comfort and touring, the fjr1300 is a great all-rounder touring bike and has all the extras just like the TMAX electric screen cruise control etc just a great package, however after a while the fjr1300 is a very heavy bike when doing manual handling.. when he told me the TMAX was the best all round bike he has ever owned, I found it hard to believe, but now I have one, I know exactly what he means.. because of the all-round package of electronics comfortability economy and reliability, I find the TMAX hard to beat, I have been up some very steep gradients and find it just tackles anything that you throw at it, it is not an adventure Bike so it's off-road capabilities may be questionable depending on how rough the ground is... but for touring.... just like my friend who convinced me to buy one ...I too find it the best bike I've ever owned, and it's lovely to be able to stretch your legs out Stay safe my friend👍🏽💛😁

    How many rpm does it do driving 75mph/120kmh I had many bikes but recently switched to a forza 300. The scooter seating position is just better for my back and my behind. Went on a 400km trip in one day on the forza. Only downside for me is when you hit the highway. I tend to keep it at 6000rpm because i don't want to kill it. I have been on the lookout for a tmax for trips that involve highway miles

  • @svbikerman

    @svbikerman

    Жыл бұрын

    @@Sunz-me5mo I bought a new one. That was late Oct 22, so there’s not been much opportunity to ride. It’s very different. Handling is incredible, very easy to flick thru bends. On advice from other owners and a mechanic who knows his bikes, I’ve been disregarding the 4K rev limit. Once it reaches 5, it’s a different beast. Not the torque or accel of the RT but very real world and certainly all I need as I approach 60. Slight downside for me at the moment is the seating position is exacerbating a back issue I have from years of playing rugby. I’m working on that, 30/40 miles runs is all that comfortable at the moment, if I can’t resolve it, I may have to think again. But a great bike, definitely worth a go. 🛵
