This is the first time I've ever commented on a video. I felt obligated to do so because you've changed my life yo. I've been a daily smoker since I was 14 years old, now I'm 41. Last year was one the toughest and because of that I consumed more weed than I ever have. Making me numb and a unable to move forward past my grief. It affected everything in my life. Friendships were lost because I couldn't leave my house or if and when we kicked it, I was checked out. My 20+ year career as a hair stylist took a hit as well because I just stopped caring about everything. All the things that I love and worked so hard for just didn't matter anymore. Everything you talked about was so relatable for me and you've given me the strength to stop. It's only been 4 full days, which I realize isn't a lot. But even so, I'm committed. Thank you, thank you, thank you for showing me that I can do it too. ❤

Wow! That's so amazing to hear. Good job on four days away from it. That's a big barrier to cross! Keep going one day at a time. Sometimes it'll be one hour at a time. If you feel yourself slipping into the temptation, do something out of the ordinary, go for a walk or turn on a movie or clean the house, anything to break the routine that would lead to you smoking again. Keep it going! You sound like you know you needed a change and you've started 2020 on the right foot. Keep going! And if you make a mistake, don't beat yourself up, just get back on the wagon and recommit. But I think you're going to make it. One day at a time!

25 days cannabis free after being chronic for nearly a decade. Am also alcohol free for 1 yr and 1mth. Sober living has been so incredible. Gotta keep going w my weed journey though - I’ve tried to quit so many times - this has been my best run yet.

Congrats, all the best to keep it going into the new year, Touré! I recently quit/took a break from Mary Jane, myself, specifically Canadian government-regulated weed (bad weed) and overall, everything's better. Every single description you gave resonated with me in veracity. Thanks for upload.

GOD REPLACES OUR CRAVINGS WITH SELF CONFIDENCE WITH HIS GRACE, its like a Divine gift, that propels us forward.... given to us for walking through the fire and trusting the process, trusting God to lead us out of darkness. If drugs are open portals to demons then the solution must be a Spiritual one.

Well explained. Exactly y I kept going&keep going on this journey. It was a natural progression of loving myself, enjoying my authentic self again&still having fun, enjoying my own company, and becoming mentally, spiritually,&emotionally healthier.still struggle during stress or down times,or times motivation is lacking. but being able to enjoy the feeling of complete clarity feels like some youth regained,as well as growth.its worth whatever the struggle is.becoming addicted to sobriety is real😄& it hit a lil different. Ty 4sharing ❤

I’m smoking as I watch. I’m still young and I tried to stop last week and lasted 4 days. This is a good reminder. I think the time for me to stop for good is coming soon. I’m also a musician and part of the hip hop scene and I’m telling you I got some of the biggest connects thru smoking. We shall see

Here's a fresh take on what you said about ALMOST getting caught numerous times, but always skating away scot free from a former 30 year smoker: the reason you didn't get caught and exposed publicly for smoking was because there is a higher power with plans for your life. PS I'm not a bible thumper, just spiritual. Pot, as bad as it can be is often the first step on the spiritual path for alot of people... good luck 🤞

Hey brother I watch your video and its inspiring, but as I'm writing this comment I'm fighting my own voice inside of me, that keeps telling me to smoke, its my 3rd day without weed and my body feels like hell I'm having anxiety depression, because of the voice that keeps telling me to smoke, I didn't also belive that smoking marijuana was in a addiction I've been smoking over 10yrs and trying my best not to go back, how long did it take for the craving to stop and all this anixity to stop. Its killing me inside but keeping strong 💪. Any advice on how to keep me away or not think about it, a help will be appreciated 🙏.

was smoking weed for over 25 years. waking and baking for the last 4. there is no voice in the head driving this or any other addiction, we are all addicts for the SAME reason and i will tell you what it is. it is to AVOID DISCOMFORT. for me it was the discomfort that was a result of bordem. i was an addict to weed to attempt to avoid good ol fashion bordem. for you it may be something else. the root cause is the same. to avoid some discomfort. dont fool yourselves into thinking it is something other then that. it really is that simple. its the same reason skid row is littered with addicts. they are ALL addicts to avoid some discomfort. no other reason exists.
