Brand new, even for loyal TOUR racers, are the first two thirds of this opening stage, starting in Lienz and leading through the Defereggen valley. After almost 114 km and nearly 2000 meters of altitude, the stage ends in Sillian. ⁠

Ganz neu, auch für treue TOUR-Rennfahrer, sind die ersten zwei Drittel dieser Eröffnungsetappe, die in Lienz beginnt und durch das Defereggental führt. Nach fast 114 km und knapp 2000 Höhenmetern endet die Etappe in Sillian. ⁠
