A fairy named Rebecca unleashed a magic spell, she didn‘t know what happened, but somehow it went well. Her clever way of handling the items on display, it shaped a magic kingdom in which her talent lay. At her side a cherub, by the name of Tim, who lifted all the hardware that she found within. Together they did magic there for all to see and you might be inspired when you come to tea. There even is a gift shop with treasures to pursue, chosen by a fairy who caters just for you. 🏆😍👏🏻

Chateau de la Ruche struck lucky when this family bought it! Such a laid back couple, with a huge talent and an eye for detail, nothing rushed but everything thought through. I thoroughly enjoyed watching the two episodes spent at this Chateau. Thank you.

Rebecca is quite the decorating talent. Seriously, to have accomplished so much on a tight budget is quite the challenge. The undone parts of the chateau are going to be quite something to see, I feel sure. Rebecca and Tim make quite the team!

Rebecca is such a lovely hostess! How lovely that she opened up her home to all of us! Such a perfectly beautiful home! Stephanie is such a perfect interviewer.

The unfinished side is so interesting. Love seeing that side of chateau life. This home is so lovely. Thank you to the couple for allowing us to see and thank you ms Jarvis for doing these videos.

Stephanie, I’ve enjoyed all the chateaux you’ve visited and shared with us recently. I much prefer watching you and your “show” than any TV show! The TV show is cheesy and it’s so frustrating that we can’t see so many renovations the various chatelaine’s are working on because we have to wait until the show has aired. I’ve said many times that the France department of tourism should pay you as you are an incredible ambassador and educator on all things French. I think you are also the best marketing ambassador for all the chateaux that you’ve recently vlogged and shared with us.

Quite agree with you - they are doing a great job of promoting each other and entertaining us at the same time. Those TV shows are for a narrower audience and is it worth it to them??

What a beautiful chateau! I love the simplicity and tranquillity of design. Even the unfinished rooms of private quarters look stylish as if the walls are meant to be untouched. thankyou for showing us the unrenovated wing of Tim and Rebecca's chateau . The views are stunning from the window's and they have done such a tremendous job of renovating. Rebecca is very talented as is Tim . The grim loo is truely grim but i am sure they will make an excellent job of renovation of said loo.

The international family of La Lande are amazing ambassadors for not only France, but showcasing other French Chateau. Stephanie always shows us the huge amount of work it takes to keep these beautiful homes functioning and the amount of work required to keep them as both a home and business.

I LOVE her aesthetic! Her bedrooms are perfection.

This was just so lovely! I enjoyed this lovely Chateau de la Ruche! So comfortable and beautiful looking and in the process of being so divine! The Chandeliers certainly are exquisite! Wish I could have bought one from the store. Many surprises. Bless Rebecca and Tim in all they do at this Chateau. Thank you so much Stephanie for taking us on this trip to this chateau so we can see this family that are so gracious, humble and kind. Te children must truly love all the room and fun on top floor? I thought it was sweet how the parents have their own room to stay in and a nice window to see out upon the land * many of the really grand windows for that really nd it truly makes a difference. I could just be in the kitchen or the other rooms and look outside all day long and dreams . Usd to make goals and reach many of them, even if not all, but now I dream! lol We are lucky we can be part of Chateau Diaries and we do love Chateau de la Lande, Stephanie and everyone else who works or volunteers there.

Sewing and buying fabric are 2 different hobbies! I also have a decent size fabrics collection..... A very full cupboard houses 90% of it plus a few boxes....

I just love this Chateau, what an amazing job there doing.

This was just lovely. I'm a few hundred kilometres south, in a smaller property and dream of something like this. Our area just doesn't have these beautiful types of buildings, unfortunately. I love the windows and the views, the trees and the stunning lawns, and the flower beds and colours just make my heart sing to see them!! Was a blessing to see this!

I love Tim and Rebecca chateau and Rebecca's colour scheme is just so gorgeous. Its exactly the way I would do it myself. I myself am a quilter and I really identified with what Rebecca had to say about fabric. I own 3 full floor to ceiling cupboards full of beautiful fabric that I can not bare to cut up and always find myself buying new fabric for projects much to my husband dismay! But I do have to say, I was literally drooling over that gorgeous vintage linen french fabric.....

The kitchen is just wonderful,how I wish it was mine!!Maybe framed wallpaper on the big wall? Kind regards Georgina (Derbyshire England)Oh the joy you must feel in the attic sewing space,my idea of heaven!!! The shop bought tears to my eyes! Who ever film this video was absolutely clever , and artistic . None of that up updown camera that make you sick and attention to the smallest details. Well done . I enjoye this immensely . I didn't really think about it while watching but they did do a great job. I felt like I was just walking along with them...Superb!

I so love these diaries, I often watch already watched ones learning so much and getting ideas, Stephanie is a delight, such enthusiasm for everyone and everything, I love seeing her hair tied back here it suits her so well. What fabulous views from this house over the lawn and trees!

Thank you for allowing Stephanie to tour your Chateau with us. So much to do but it will be done in style. 👍 I would definitely keep one or two of those upper rooms as a storage/work room. If you have attic space… isn’t that normally used for storage 🤷‍♀️

Love the rustic unfinished places, Oh and the atelier was my favorite - lots of inspiration with those chandeliers. :-)

I loved visiting the rooms that weren’t finished, especially the room with the chandeliers and those wonderful pieces of furniture!

Bonjour, I have to say that this château is a dream ! the way it is decorated with the light palette, "so that the guest feel relax " I totally love this way of thinking. It is amazing to see the part that is not done yet, It makes us realize how much hard work there is to be done in order to bring the place to life and make it beautiful ! Finally, I guess it is true to say that owning a château is being the master piece of a never ending project !! Wonderful visit, thank you Stephanie for this great visit.

I especially love the kitchens that you all create, so nice and airy, roomy. I wish I could take bits from each Chateaux you visited and make my own. To me the kitchen is truly the heart of the home and should be very nice and Rebecca and Tim definitely aced this, despite the tight budget.

Wow! Rebecca is really good. I normally don’t like the interiors of old buildings because they are dark, heavy, and cluttered. Everything she picked looks fantastic. It’s light, clean, and just beautiful. Her talent is interior design.

What an enjoyable vlog, it is very calming there and I love the views of the lime trees. My mother when pregnant with me had an addiction to sitting under and enjoying the perfume from them. I too have to admit that I love fabrics but quite reluctant to use them, only for very special projects. Again such a lovely vlog, Stephanie many thanks. WCL

So lovely and charming! I love her sewing room! What an inspiring space for a creative spirit anywhere you look! I too am addicted to beautiful light fixtures, chandeliers, and character chairs. If you find the bedroom wardrobe too dark, it would look lovely painted in a very pale, light, French blue or mint or even grey or milky white.

Sailcloth/canvas on the walls would be great and you could paint patterns on it. Lovely house and great decorating flare

The kitchen is the loveliest kitchen I have ever seen. I wouldnt change a thing except maybe to transport it to my home.😁 Im in love with the swan seat. It reminds me of my bedside table. 😁 I get list and confused in Instagram. So unfortunately I wont be following. Which is a shame. ☹
